His game, his rules, but still... I don't think it was needed, or even asked. This will take a lot of time, probably until February or March 2024. I had to stop being a patreon (money issues, I still like this game) so I can't tell him directly, if only I was I would post my opinion.

I guess I'm on the minority that loved his static scenes with that text describing the scene... he's a hell of a hot erotica writer, and we'll lose those descriptions. a shame.

Hello.

While I understand everybody's doubts, I think that, if it's handled like Adan's church quests rewards scenes, it can still be nice.
The best way to do it would have been to add them gradually with the new content and not focusing on them.

I mean, Animations are easier to make than Text once you get the frame going. (You can see how many scenes he's able to make per updates)
That's why you often see Comic / Manga / Novel / Text-based game burn out, But not Artist / Animators.

Not to mention there are tons of people prefer instant gratification / lack imaginations.
I don't think there are many porn games that main Animated scenes like LfA (in fact, I can't name single one).

BUT without context support, these kind of contents (pure porn arts / animated scenes) lack Personality, limited on what they can present, and produce fatigue / boredom quickly.
AKA "Popcorn / Junk food Contents".

Personally I ain't interested in LfA's scenes anymore cuz these are just the same animations over and over again.
A lose for LfA as a game, but oh well.

I can relate like mad to this. I played Emotion Creators probably more than anyone alive and getting through all the text is what costs me all my time, not the posing, unless I really have a ton of specific changes to make to an already-made animation. Making animations for The Sims 4 was actually pretty quick n easy once I got to know how to cut corners. Nearly all other kind of mods took longer to make.

About the plan to animate all the single-screen text scenes, the whole reason I'm not on Patreon supporting this is cuz I was starting to think it'd take him till 2030 to make any of the F/F animations. Haven't played it in weeks cuz I was waiting very patiently for loads of updates, since I saw he was adding even more areas, quests and people, but only updating/animating M/F stuff. All I saw so far was the F/PoorBoy, and the MC mastur anim.

Also, technically he could keep the text screens and also play the animation before or after, or something. No real reason to scrap what he has, but the animations are the selling point for me. Or, he could go pioneer and be the first game (I'm aware of) to have an option in settings to decide between text screens or animations for the cutscenes.

Not adding anything new until April is a huge mistake. I understand wanting to animate the old scenes but he should break that up with some new zones or he's going to lose a lot of subs.

Bad enough he keeps taming down the kinks in general now he wants to basically suspend any progress for people who have been playing since day 1
