There are just a lot of rich furries that take enjoyment from tossing money at their Favorited artists.They need some fucking standards.
As long as it's consensual transaction there's nothing wrong. We are just too poor to understand them
And Sabre indeed is a quite successful "businessman" to cash in on the trend:
- Created a Porn FVN (Uncommon Breed) When there was not many product, Build up quite a fame. And we all know Fame is important for porn / indie
- UB was a "WIP" with just enough porn to tease your interest, but never enough, and "finish" was never in plan;
- Also charge a fair amount of money on it. IIRC His game ain't free even when you never get a finished product;
- Jump in right away when "Patreon live service game" become a thing, which is also quite difficult to pirate;
- Abandon UB immediately when it ain't makin' enough money, doesn't even bother to announce it;
- Commission Famous Artists for Lust, bring in more audience from their fans;
- Using AI generated Arts as soon as it becomes feasible;
- Never bother to properly develop his games, but always on toe of what makes money.

Gacha is no where near as popular in the US as it is in Asian countries outside of some powerhouses like Genshin, fate go, and Fire emblem heroes. Also it's not like gacha has the furry communities' balls in a vice, take a look at housamo or live a hero which is just teeming with beefy husband material. If sabre is going to make a gacha he's going to need actual assets like coding, artists, someone to write the mediocre story for said gacha. TBH I'm a bit surprised he didn't do Gotcha, maybe it's difficult to do on western market?

The only thing showing some kind of effort is the DRM lol.

I don't know if anyone could help with this but I've been messing around with the textures of the game and tbh I'm not a tech guy when it comes to understanding the mumbo jumbo. I came across animator files which were kinda lumped in with sprites and texture2d files. My purpose is that I want to build an out of game gallery haha. I don't know if it's possible to extract the animated files for the characters with the purpose I want but if anyone can help in any way I'd appreciate it. Not unlike the creator who makes a poorly developed game with no way to view the characters outside their standard clothed sprites.

In another timeline we'd prolly be able to use any character as main controlled entity cause he actually cared about the game.
From my efforts in extracting the game's assets I could only manage to extract the CGs and the character sheets with their individual limbs. You have to assemble them in another program like GIMP etc.
Now idea how to preserve their animation (these are just minimal breathing wiggles anyways).
If you mean the BepinEx plugins, they do not actually bypass patreon protections. They only show that the DRM is rooted way deeper in the game.

Cause I don't remember which quest that is if you haven't already made contact with him he should be in the first dungeon for the woods area on the mountain woods but if you have met him already he'll beat the bears(forgot his name todor or somethhing's) cabin
