Good question, I do recommend you to take a look at our Patreon posts from last half a year, they cover all the information nicely and will give you the general idea a lot faster than my ramblings. Will there be beasty content in your new game?Oh my, this thread is alive again! Well, let me explain a few things here, since there's some interest regarding the game.
This project was put on hold because of some unfortunate events that resulted in significant data loss of source files, which was depressing on its own(imagine writing your own game twice, what a wonderful experience) combined with very modest financial success over the year game existed as actively developed project, to put it lightly.
So, we decided to take a break from MM and try something much more ambitious. I'm not going to spend too much time on that, but imagine yourself "Innocent Witches" kind of game, but with more sexual content and less blueballing set in Warhammer 40k, made with RenPy engine.
One year of active development later, in November to be precise, that project was 65-70% finished. 9 NSFW scenes, of which 3 are animated, along with minigames, inventory and shop systems, all with custom UI and stuff. You can read about that on Patreon with plenty of cool pics. Thing is already huge, to be honest I never saw a game with this much content in the initial version. But it still needs more time, more polish and more effort put into it to make it the game of our dream that started more than a year ago. After spending so much time on it - we don't want to rush things when we are so close to being done.

In short - we have a project that is almost perfect in our vision but needs at least another half a year in the oven. Remember that all this is done in our spare time, with Patreon barely covering software costs alone. Damn you Live2d that eats 20$ per month just by itself! But, people kept asking about MM. And around a month ago I gazed at RPG Maker once again and realized that I no longer feel any creeping dread when I look at it!
So, we decided to take our sweet time with our bigger project and in the meantime cook up a small, tie-in game that involves the same characters from the big game, a sort of prologue to the RenPy game. Involving a new, refined version of Ernesta and her shenanigans as she meets a charmingly crazy new cast of characters.
The work fully started in late October and initially we planned to release the first version in January, but Christmas left us a bit busy(how dare we to have personal life and actual work, I'm furious as well) so it's planned to go out into the world in February. A much simpler game in style of MM, with sex, investigations and a bit more sex again, with a much better art and generally a better flow of the game. We are still not sure on the name of the project, but most in-game content is either ready or awaiting the artist to finish up some assets and artworks. All in all - it'll be a spiritual successor to Malleus Maleficarum.
To sum things up - we took a break with another project until we felt brave enough to dive into RPG Maker again. It's fine to be skeptical about how things look, I'm not here to change that. But since people wondered I hope this post cleaned a few things up. And if you want to see more updates and news or want to ask some questions - check out our Discord and Patreon!
The data loss also resulted in the current MM having two game versions, since I had new artwork but had almost no game files left so I made things from scratch just for the new content that I had at the time. Woah I can't believe I get to play a whole new game, with a whole bunch of content...Don't run around F95 claiming that I released a new game with no actual game in it. I'll make a proper thread when it's ready and has all content for the actual release.

He says that controls are on the tooltip, which should be in the top-right corner of your screen on every combat map.I didn't see where it said that, skully said it was on a poster(or something) in the next room, but the next room is just combat.
I'll look into expanding the fog radius, but generally it's done by design to avoid you running into a dozen of enemies at once by constantly rushing forward, resulting with the engine chocking on itself. Did you notice any lags or graphical issues as you played?IDK was pretty fun, I died to the first boss/big baddie because i was greedy with ammo so no complaints. Only major issue is fog of war doesn't go away equivalent to speed your walking. If you could make it scale that would be fun, but if your trying to enforce a more cautious play style then working as intended
