Ok, recently registered, but not necessarily new to the site. Curious about something though.

Is there going to be any exploration over Ashley's Jealousy or Claire's Suspicion factor sometime or am I missing something?

new to this game, having veronica sauna scene issue where it crashes due to the animation. Have been clicking through alot of the pages and haven't found a fix. I am using windows 10 as well and there hasn't been a fix for it that I have seen.
In general the animations take a long time to load up and sometimes it crashes if I don't wait for like 5 minutes for the animation to load.
but I still really enjoy the game.

what does it do? cause some people said it did some weird stuff to their saves apparently, might've been something else.

By the sounds of your problem it seems that you do not have the correct codecs installed for the game to play the animations smoothly this will just install the correct codecs and hopefully you wont have a problem any more, it wont affect your saves

Just click the standard installation and it will do it automatically

Okay by the looks of it you are trying to use the updater to play the game I am afraid it doesnt work like that. The updater will only work if you already have the complete game and have used the updater every time to update the game for example if you are using v.0.90 and trying to use the updater from 0.95 you would need 0.91 to 0.94 versions of the updater as well.
What you need to do is go to the OP (First post of this thread) and download the complete game then use 7zip to extract it you can get that here

You should then be able to play the game without any problems

Since this questions pops up so much, here's a short explanation:


Unity makes it very easy to export to other platforms.

The reason I have not done so for Mac, is because I don't want to maintain 4 versions.

Since I update every 2 weeks and it takes a lot of time as it is, I don't want to complicate it any further.

On release I will export for Mac as well.


For Android, the same basically applies.

I have made mobile games in the past and exporting them for both Android (and even iOS) is made very easy by Unity.

However, MotH was never designed with the intention of running on mobile devices.

So while I could easily do an Android export, without a LOT of changes to, mainly the UI, it would be pointless as it just would run very poorly, or not at all (think of UI scaling, all the mouse over effects, etc.).

So this is not a limitation of Unity at all (in fact it's one of Unity's benefits), but one of MotH itself.

Sounds like you either got Jdownloader2 from a bad site, or you have a bad virus scanner, try Avast, it's free for home users. (You also want zonealarm, a firewall, and Spybot, anti-spyware cleaners, for windows 10, you especially need Spybot's Antibeacon, if you look, you can still find a free version of that too, it just doesn't do everything any more).

ok, so stupid question. how the hell do you sleep? I keep clicking on the bed and clicking on sleep, but he keeps saying " i'm tired, I need to sleep." then freaking sleep!!…… sorry...it's annoying the hell out of me. any ideas? i'm still in the beginning of the game, first day...

what am I meant to do once I've downloaded it. the game still crashes. I've changed the default player to the k-lite codec thing, but it still crashes. Am I missing something.
