MotH is on a 2 week update cycle (every other Friday). So since version 0.9.6 was released last Friday (the 24th), the next update comes out on June 7th.

It sounds like you are on the introduction day which in this version is bugged start a new game and skip the introduction day and the game will play fine

There you go. Fixed! Just load the save and enter the massage room.
Next time, please don't change the flags unless instructed to do so. The nuru_level flag was changed twice (increased then decreased) for Emma which prevented you from asking for the nuru massage.
