To expand on Sycho's answer, scenes are more about remembering the story than necessarily the lewd content (although they are based around lewd content), so they give a bit of context and include the dialogue, while videos are just the animations.

So I guess my confusion is still whether the animations in the "videos" area are integrated with the gameplay as you unlock that stuff, or if those are just extra/peripheral. It may seem like a dumb question, but it just seemed so weird to me that Claire for example only has 3 scenes to unlock, but lots of videos...

Oh no, that's a valid question. And to answer that question, yes they are included in the game. In fact, all of the videos, just like the images and collectables that you're gathering, will have the same sound you hear during your gameplay when they get added to the gallery. Not only can you replay them within the game, but you can also play them individually through your standalone video player.

If you go into the game's folder, look for a sub-folder named "man of the house_Data" >> "StreamingAssets" >> and then into any one of the numbered folders.

Can you check your event logs, please?

Press the Windows key and R to bring up a "Run" dialog box. Copy and paste the following: eventvwr and click "OK". Go into: "Windows logs" >> "Application". See if you can find any errors pertaining to MotH and paste what you find, please.

I suspect it's either your firewall or Avast that's blocking your game, but your event log (if one was made) should provide more information.

If there are no Videos of the game, check your Windows-Version. Do you have a "N"-Version installed? There may be no video tools/codecs installed. I tried the "Education N"-Version for a VM (because I don't need most of the bloat-shit Microsoft installs with Windows) and had no videos at all because of that.

Correct. And while Faerin has hinted at the possibility to expand a bit on existing side characters (but really only "hinted at the possibility", it is not meant as a code for "all but certain", "I already have some plans", or similar), it is not advisable to hold your breath until that happens. Certainly for now his focus will be on Mystwood Manor.

Just downloaded the game and Im really liking it. But I want it to be without incest. How can I set it so mom becomes Landlady? I didnt install the incest patch, just downloaded the game from nopy server.

You can change the relationship in the mapping file. It's just text.

Q: What is General achievement #9?
That is the movie quiz. Go to the movie theater (not on a date with Pam or Ashley) and answer all 10 movie related questions correctly.

Q: How do I get the bonus ending (General achievement #16)?
Make sure all of the other achievements are at 100%.
Make sure that you have all images, videos, scenes and collectables unlocked in your gallery.
Make sure that Claire's suspicion and Ashley's jealousy stats are at 5 each.
