For Veronica, if you're talking about the second achievement then you can only get it if you haven't already given her the maid outfit. You have to watch her do the other two chores in her regular clothes. For the fourth achievement, watch her do the other two chores in the maid outfit.
For Mom, I'm not certain what the last special point is. Are you missing anything else for her?

You can always give a utility called wineskin a try. I use that to run this on a Mac. You need to tweak the screen options to get it looking 100%, but even the defaults are playable.

You will also need to use winetricks (part of wineskin) to install corefonts. Otherwise you won't see any of the text

I can't seem to get the winetricks starting to see the text. Could you help?
