Yup. That's takes talent, time and effort. Far easier to just use an off-the-shelf model, and probably very tempting to use ones that have proven popular.
I say about RPGM, because everything are done and the only thing that the Dev need, is to do the game, and can overlap other figures to make the game action, I'm seeing it alot. and it is cheap. if the game have a good return, the Dev will have money for to do better things
RPGM? or good cg and anime? RPGM is painful after playing Unity and Ren'py. Only one or two RPGM worth my time and even they are pondering switching.
Yeah i agree, well icstor is doing that in my opinion, and did also see quite few nice models under updates, but since its that i lost interest in to.
TK 8000 did a Ren'Py one-off that is pretty terrific. Downloaded his main game not realizing it was RPGM, bitched about it on his site without giving it a real fair chance. He was super cool about it, gave it another shot... pretty damn good for RPGM. He just did a poll about porting to Ren'py 50/50.
I played it a lot, but now is hard, I like another games in the 3d style, but there's so many games that I don't play anymore. Now I'm playing few games, and others that I expect what comes in the next versions and see if worth.
