Yeah, I know this is a long finished game, but I recently started playing it.
Anyways, I'm stuck. Can't progress on the Debby/Angel path. The walkthroughs say I should walk home alone at night, and Angel(the "superhero") will appear, but after trying a lot of times, nothing. To be clear, I've done the previous step of hearing the news in the foyer.
Any help/suggestions?

I had similar issue ... seemed to resolve itself walking home from the mall after midnight

Don't follow the walkthough, it is outdated, use the ingame hints, they are accurate. The only guides you might need otherwise would be the date guides.

Can someone please help a dumb dumb like me? I can't even get past the tutorial walking to the supermarket. I used every key and mouse input and nothing will make the character move anywhere. I also used every button on screen and nothing.

To move inside a location you have to click in the direction arrow, it will light up when you are on it.



to move around outside, click on the map point icon top right under angry, this will bring up the rooms in your current location, the top left one is the world map

click on your desired location and choose mode of transport according to your quest / budget

I've tried using the point icon then pressing the supermarket, but the character just keeps repeating "I need to walk to the supermarket." Nothing else happens, no pop ups letting me choose walk.

I can't remember the ealier map ... the supermarket (shopping trolley) is SSE of Home (House) not N ... that's the Mall (shopping bag) hover over the locations, the mesage bar will tell you what they are and when they are open ...

Check your savegames folder to see if you have an auto.sav file. If you do, could you attach that, please?

I just restarted the game and it seems to have fixed itself because when I would click on supermarket a pointer icon would appear on it and nothing would happen, but now the option to walk, take a bus, or taxi appears now. I don't know what happened before, but I'm glad it fixed itself.

You can only have 8 hints active at a time. So either you have too many people checked, or you need to do something first. Have you started delivering pizzas? Have you seen Angel on the news with the fam?
