I'm struggling with the narrative on this. I can't tell who is talking at times without names or some such to let me know (for example the phone call scene in the beginning). Also there is nothing like italics to show a persons thinking (like the daughter at the breakfast table, I assumed she was talking to someone). It's all just the same text. Its a pain to read and enjoy. Sorry but I can't play this as it is.

lmao that made me laugh too hard. sry, but no xD. you either haven't read any good stories in ya life or are just thinking with ya dick. this game is just one hell of a fetish loli show while the story, if you could it that, is just glued together so the MC can sex as many lil girls as he wants. which is fine by itself, but it's not a "the godfather" of story driven porn games. heeeeell noooo
this game is purely a "let ya dick do the thinking", nothing more, nothing less. if you take this story in any way serious you will see a lot of plot and logic holes and might even risk losing some brain due to those braindead time travel scenes that have so many logic holes ya can dig a whole town in xD.

believe it or not, thats what i read the most in most 5 stars ratings.venixyz changed his rating to 4 stars now and slightly altered his review. it looks a lot more believable now. it doesn't matter what opinion i have about the game (i look at it objectively whenever i can though), we can't just throw out 5 stars for every god damn game out here or else we can just stop the rating system alltogether. only use a 5 star if the game is really UTTERLY PERFECT. this includes: bugs, grammar, progression, story, graphics, coding, fucking everything.

Rating will never be perfect.
I personally will always be tempted to rate with my emotions cause point blank that's what really matters to me; for someone else it maybe sex scenes or action.
I do get that its frustrating but I don't think a 5 star was ever given with malice but pretty sure some 1 stars are...

And that is why I think rating systems are dumb, and shouldn't be used, they mostly mislead, the best way to know about the game is the first 100 comments, and the last 100 comments in my opinion.

those 1 star trolls are also a pain in my butt (a 1 star should only be given if the game is malicious or so full of bugs that you can't play it). but it just shows that the rating system needs to be reformed. a review can ofc include emotions, but the rating should (as good as possible) only be objective. that helps other people A LOT more who want to find out if a game is worth their time or not.
while we are at it: it would be really great if ya guys write a bit more in ya review. i almost never see an actual small summary of the story, what ya can do there and what the mechanics are. writing, that ya like storyelements, that graphics are good and xy girls look cute as fuck is nice and all, but does it actually help those who read the review?
true unfortunately x(. but who knows, maybe it's not too late educate people (on how to rate and write useful reviews) and find a system that works for everyone.

Yeah but that is hard because you could have logical and technical reviews, but this is art, so a lot of people would appeal to the emotional, and many other to the artistic(like game reviewers from big companies), look at "The last of us 2" for example.

You seem to know a lot about how these ratings should and shouldn't be used. I really haven't searched much of the other forums here as I'm here for the VNs but maybe the powers that be could let you write up an FAQ for reviewing dos and don'ts and make it a sticky? I may not be passionate bout it but I've known the feelings before.
thats usually what I do. But like I said I mostly goes for feeling first.

split ya review in two or use the avarage value. write down why you don't like or like specific aspects of the game so the reader knows why you gave a specific writing. try to fortify your opinion by giving examples and what you would like to see instead.
tlou2 is a weird game. its just one painful event after another and the game can't even keep up with its own morals correctly. i didn't play the game personally, so i will refrain from rating that game, but after watching reviews and watching the ending i do question what the goal of the game is. does it want to tell me that revenge is bad? or that you can get away with revenge? i'm missing a golden thread here. ...and that sex scene in the middle of the game.... eeeeeeeeh xD. feels as out of place as in yu-no.

i try to write as indepth as zippity.
me and others alr talked about the rating system and came up with great ideas, but it's up to sam and the other mods if they wanna implement our ideas.

I startet with Day 8 but I think, I need the whole Month to finish it.
As you know, Week 2 is a different Story Path and 95% are Genesis 8 this Time,
so I need a bit more Time to Render and SetUp.
