Why don't you try it out for yourself and then tell us how it went? Sometimes shit happens and it's not possible to keep the saves, it's not the end of the world, it takes like 5 minutes to skip all the text.
Well I have actually tried and it's not hard, plus when you charge people to play your game you should know what your doing.

Even big companies fuck up sometimes, I agree that having to restart from the beginning of week 2 is not ideal. But it's not that big of a deal either.

Looks like some adult gamer never played common games...try some, charged for €50+ from big international companies with hundrets of professional programmers...aside from usual crashes, glitches, bugs and other fun you will find many breaking their savegames with updates, patches and dlc's. Every change to the core codes or engine can break savegames. Any dev with a little brain who stands before a bug that can be fixed will do it...if this breaks the savegames, well, shit happens, better than bugs...especially in early development because they tend to grow into big problems over time.
In this and most other cases here, the games are still in development...a company would never dare to leak such early pre-alphas without most of its planned conent, but we are not talking about companys here, most devs are alone or in a little team of "specialists" (coder, artist, creative, ...) and lack the funds, equipment and PR of a company, so they need money to upgrade their equipment, money to life if they want to spend full time on making the game and people/communities talking about the game to get more customers. Many of the games here are first time projects. Learning by doing only works if the hardware can keep up with it. So its an easy deal, you get early releases to see if the game is worth your money and they can upgrade their skills, equipment, and time for making the game + some devs are even open for suggestions and improvements, what big company did ever listen to that? Little hint: There are millions of unpaid private modders in many modding communities for countless big-company-games all over the internet...not only to get the girls naked or add semi-legal content... ^^

I'm really starting to get annoyed with devs and their old saves don't work. It really makes me want stop playing your game. I mean if the greenest of green devs can figure it out than it can't be that hard.
IMHO this is best game to replay... when you don't enjoy, you should play another game...

You need the incest patch for week one, as you have said you started back at week one and it's censored. You can find it on the lewdpatcher icon right here on F95 and look for week one patch... Download that and then (paste the zip file into the game folder) of week one and extract the zip file inside the game folder and allow any rewrites that it prompts you for and then start week one over. Play it until it prompts you to save week one and follow instructions ok. Then download the patch for week two and follow the same instructions to install as the first. Start week two and it will ask to import the save for week one, click yes and you are all set for the second week ok

I agree with many of the others that having to replay so much of the game each time is getting tedious. Also, what happened to the 'cest focus? And why no more transformers?? These were the interesting aspects of the game to me, not the unnecessarily confusing storyline

why you need patch? playing week 1 to end and go to week 2...
If you are not using the Shota/ loli patch in week one you don't need the patch in week two. But if you are expecting to use the patch for week two without patching first will cause the game to crash.

I started playing this in week one and then stopped playing for a while, and only started playing again recently. Is it common for the saves to not be compatible? I was searching the thread I couldn't really find anything that suggests the saves have been an issue, but some people are talking like you have to restart from 0 every time a new update comes out.

I dont remember any incompatible saves in week1, only the current week2 (if you played/saved an earlier version of week2 before, but if you come straight from week1 you dont have to worry about that).

So finished the compressed and patched version of week 1, but when trying to play the compressed and patched version of week 2 the end save from week 1 is not compatible. Anyone else encounter this ? And can anyone post a save from the patched and compressed version that is compatible?
