I need to resub to this game, its one of my favourites but I did a reset of all the patreons I'm signed up to.

I hope they add a separate setting for children aging, like, once you turn 18 or the character is over 18 the age freezes, but if they're under 18 it won't freeze unless you tell it to.

This game has a great potential that a male MC can have "secretly submissive" relationship with his slaves. So that the female slaves can be femdom and dominate the male MC when they are in private. (Even force some small changes to his decisions.)

I've been trying to add a new location to map, keeps pointing to a black screen, with red text error message. Even after making simple edit to the Redhaven District + Redhaven District night images, turning that "horse farm thing" into "STABLES".
And eventually got it to point to another locations interior, but can't figure out how to add my own, that dang "<tw-passagedata pid="###" name="Custom"> thingy I guess.

Tried adding new sex options to the interact menu, keeps pointing to a different interact menu missing the 'back button'.
Has to be something I'm over looking, o well. Bah!

At least I got a working family background and troublesome event thing added. :D.
Wanted to add a simple quest to the troublesome event as well, but haven't tried yet.

^sadly, the main story has a TON of interactions mentioning your brother or your family name,...way WAY too much to edit in 'if' clauses to point to my custom background/troubleevent at each and every instance. very very sad.

Made custom parent background: 1) no parents, raised on streets by self. 2) raised by single mom in poverty. 3) mom worked at brothel, raised by her and other professional ladies [start with much higher sex skills]. 4) raised as slave alongside your mom.
Made custom troublesome event: 1) mom has gone missing. 2) mom is very sick. 3) mom and you got split up by different owners.
All troublesome events had requirements or didn't show up in the list, like had to have background that involved single mother. ETC.

There seems to be some confusion on this as it gets asked a lot, here and on the discord. I'm pretty sure it works this way.

The public version is the game, which is version .8.1.8 at this time. If you subscribe to:

Tier2 you will get to start a Great House, acquire a custom slave and start a family quest line along with extra cash and a unique revolver as a reward for subscribing.

Tier3 is the same as Tier2, but you get the public version a week or so earlier before public release.

Tier4 gets everything Tier2 does plus it has some enhanced starts that are basically OP, but saves you having to began at level 1, so to speak. What it gets is access to all the changes and additions that Grim is adding to the game between the public releases. This works as a QC check of the game to find bugs, balance issues, etc. as he works to smooth everything out before the public release. He is constantly updating this and sometimes drops new versions weekly, it seems. You can follow the game progress on his discord.

If you quit at anytime from one of the tiers and go back to the public release you will have all that you have built and earned before opting out. You can downscale and then receive the additions from that Tier only. Certain things in Tier4+ might not be available to the public release so those you would lose, i.e. slave market (the ones you had acquired are there, but no renders for them since those won't be included in game until .8.2 is released.

You will no longer get any more updates on the family quest line or have options of the enhanced starts from Tier2-Tier4+when starting a new game.

If you contributed at Tiers higher than 4 to have a custom quest, custom npc or some custom renders created for the game I would assume those remain as long as they have become part of the public version.

If I erred on any this feel free to correct.
wow. I mean the game is fun but this has to be the worst monetization I have ever seen. Paying and you will only get a small chunk of the game, paying more and still not getting all the content. You need to pay almost 50€ a month to get all the content, for an unfinished game. This is EA levels of scummy lol Edit: Misunderstanding on my part.

I usually ignore wild accusations but this was exceptionally erroneous so it requires a response.

First – the higher tiers pay for early access. Something you'll eventually get for free.

Second – where did you get the €50 from? You mean $5, right? Because that's the only content tier locked behind a paywall.

Third – regarding that locked content, while not crucial for game progress, it still holds a rather big "chunk" of gameplay, especially in 0.8.2. So technically those who feel they want to contribute only have to pay $5 to unlock all of MoR's content, which is a custom slave, a quest and some unique equipment. If you don't want to pay anything, that's perfectly fine too, and you get at least 50+ hours of gameplay for free.

I grant early-access and some cheat templates for those generous subscribers who pay for higher tiers – as a token of gratitude. MoR wouldn't be the game it is today if it wasn't for them. But it's absolutely not required to get access to The Last Relative quest.

No, I actually mean 50€. The "Spheremaster", which has own events and chars. 5€ would be scummy enough for an unfinished porn game but this is just ridiculous. I get that you want to make money with your work. I am fine with early accesses and support and have supported such projects before. But would never support a project locking entire content forever behind a paywall, especially not 50€. I mean you even have 100€ tier. Come on. Have you worked in the C Level at EA or Ubisoft? Edit: Misunderstanding on my part.

Haha, what are you talking about? Spheremasters (and Chancellors) have no extra content - just tier requests.

Read this for clarification:

Ah ok, apologize then. Misunderstood your tier descriptions. Still not a fan of the lock so won't support. But good luck

Ah, yes, I suspected some form of misunderstanding here. Tier requests from Chancellors and Spheremasters become available for all players. It's just a way for those tiers to add some of their own "flavor" to the game word.

Thanks.

I'm curious... Why tell a Developer you don't like their tiers so you won't support? If there wasn't a tier there wouldn't be any support anyway, right? Are you saying you'd donate without tiered benefits but won't donate if there is tired content? If so, call me extremely skeptical.

You can be skeptical. But it is what I do. Of course not to any untiered benefits. But if I like the game and it has monetization that fits into my principles I support. Games that have a free release with all content maybe one week after the patreon release are fine, if the content is the same. Unfortunately not too many games offer this anymore. I just can't bring myself to pay to unlock content behind walls. It is a direction I don't like. Probably because I have been playing these games before patreon came around, back when the games did not have much monetization and were done for fun or actual donations.

I remember those days too, and what I remember most is there were far fewer games and they were getting updated much slower and seldom went into great depth. It seems to me that the new fundraising models and outlets caused an exponential surge in the amount of naughty-rated content for people to play, the vast majority of it available for free.

If you really wanted to go back to 2013 you could also refuse to play any of these games that were developed with other people's money and limit yourself exclusively to those employing the same old hentai pics purloined and packaged into yet another system and updated at irregular intervals.

Is their a guide or help for this game. I don't know why but I have tried to get going with this twice but really struggle with the fights how to navigate what to do.

Any advise of direction would be greatly appreciated.

, note that it's not perfect nor complete and at this juncture includes occasional references to material that won't be in the public release for about a month.

As for a general strategy suggestion, Hire some cheap mercs, Ansel, Bud, Loren and the Rifle Savant will do to start, and take out the easier targets and do the beginner quests and bounties available at Furry's (opens in Redhaven at 6 PM) and in Hamilton Square go to the Town Hall (closes at 9PM) as well as Kymanto for bounties and another quest as well. Both the General Store and Weapons Store have easy and profitable beginning quests available too.

Here's a post I wrote fairly recently on a good way to navigate the first day and a little after. It's not the only way to do it, and maybe not the very best but it will serve to get you off to a good start if you want more of a step-by-step walkthrough.

Or I just dont pay the money to monetization models I don't support. While the updates might have been slower, the updates where more meaningfull. Nowadays devs just release the smallest of updates, holding content back as much as possible to keep the people paying for longer
