It came when the 0.8.3.4 alpha tier 4 version was leaked. You can use the images as desktop wallpaper.Idk if I have a memory problem or not, but I feel like the "Image Pack" download links weren't there before. So the question is, what does it do?
Heh, didn't realise I had to go to the 'training' screen.Been out since... I think two public versions ago. You have to do Prowler in the Depths Part 3, grab some books. Then you go to your library, read up the Kessian Manuscripts, and the Rite of Passage book. Detailed here in the wiki:You must be registered to see the links
Grade A heresy. Trust in nothing but steel and gunpowder.
Okay the last one is definitely a joke lmao but thanks anywayIt came when the 0.8.3.4 alpha tier 4 version was leaked. You can use the images as desktop wallpaper.
Not necessarily a joke. Those images are tier request iirc, upsized versions of game scenes. You know how VN authors often post a large wallpaper for the month on their Patreon? This is effectively this game's version of that.Okay the last one is definitely a joke lmao but thanks anyway
Pretty sure that got removed awhile ago since it basically forced you to teach every day forever or get hit with penalties. I only bother to do any teaching to reach the minimum required to recruit that new girl with the funky name (Seve or something). Is there no longer a minimum number of days you have to teach per month to be a professor at the academy?
Haven't played this in a while and couldn't find this in the wiki or patch notes for some reason, but the game is no longer telling me about it and there's no count for it that I could find either.
Train, train, train. And get hulc armor for your tank. That's an expensive buy or a not so expensive buy if you're diligent in collecting pieces. What can I do to make my people tougher? Is there some stat that i'm neglecting that manages max hp or damage resistance or something?
Armor first of all, sounds like you already have that covered but you want duraplate on everyone at a minimum. If you're playing the alpha you may want to pick up WEGA armor. It's not that much more expensive and it's a lot tougher for NPCs. It's kind of a pain to repair for MC though so personally I just stick to duraplate on MC.I'm having a little trouble with higher-level combat. I cleared most of the arena with coilguns and duraplate, but going up against 'elite guards' in Averil's personal quest, my MC is doing fine, but my followers are going down in like two attacks each.

I'm mostly focused on training ranged combat, for now.
Train what. That's what i'm asking. What stat alters how much damage they take?Train, train, train.
... is that true? That doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere in game or in the wiki.Improving the strength, stamina, and dexterity of your followers will increase their max health.
I've been training up Aiko, Enya and Rebecca as my main combat squad. After months and months, they both have ranged combat stats in the 100+ range.Armor first of all, sounds like you already have that covered but you want duraplate on everyone at a minimum. Next up, weapons. For melee you want either greatswords or great axes depending on strength. For Ranged you want plasma. You can start getting plasma drops for free when you finish your 15th bounty. Greatswords you can rarely get for free from the warlord who sometimes spawns in Marston Avenue but you'll probably just have to buy some. Great Axes you can only buy as far as I know, never seen one drop anywhere.
Next you have Ranged skill for ranged attacks and Strength for melee attacks. Damage scales based on those 2 stats so you want those trained up to decent levels (120+).
Lastly you might want to think about getting some health implants. MC can get 3 of them (3rd one is on the mastersphere and expensive). NPCs can get 2 each.
Those fights are not all that tough but they're definitely not something I would recommend for an early game combat team unless you pick up all the top tier mercs immediately. I usually wait til at least the 2nd or 3rd month before I go do that so I've had some time to gear up and train my mercs up a bit.
Plasma is not listed as armor penetration = yes, while the coilgun is.Are plasma guns better than coilguns? They seem about equal, in my experience.
Also, what's up with H.U.L.C armour? I keep finding pieces but I never worked out what to do with them, in the end I just bought two full sets from the rich district at great expense, but the person wearing the second set still keeps getting wiped out regardless.
Also, health implants, I'll have to remember to check if I gave them all that.
Plasma always does more damage than coil despite the misleading fact that coil is armor piercing and plasma is not. Plasma does more damage regardless whether you're using it on heavily armored or unarmed enemies. It also reduces the soak value of the enemy's armor by twice as much (-2 per hit for plasma vs only -1 for coil). Ranged damage scales with ranged skill as well. You can train it up to 120-130 in the dojo and you can crit your way to 150. Same goes for strength for melee damage except that caps at 130 normally (190 if you're a mountain man). Are plasma guns better than coilguns? They seem about equal, in my experience.

It really isn't. Once you build the dojo especially training can snowball like no tomorrow. I am not even through year one of my current game and my primary combat team have all stats in their 90's. Which means they don't ever miss, even with power attacks, dodge like no tomorrow and do crazy melee damage. It's gotten to the point where most opponents are flat out not a danger to me at all unless they are a total and complete bullet sponge boss. Two training sessions per day is shit though.

This help?Just starting a new game since i my last one was old. Can anyone remind me what the "Grimdark" difficulty consists of ?
Armor. Armor alters how much damage they take. DEX can help since at high DEX they have an easier time dodging melee attacks. I would not trust on it though since they will still be vulnerable to Ranged Attacks and the DEX needed to guarantee a 100% dodge rate vs most melee attacks are practically unattainable for most.Train what. That's what i'm asking. What stat alters how much damage they take?
Just STR and Stamina.... is that true? That doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere in game or in the wiki.
All three of those stats, really?
Plasma is popular with veterans because they reduce Armor Soak values on enemies. Meaning you can slap a heavily armored enemy with a whipping cane when their armor decayed, allowing you to capture HULKs and Ultra HULKs from Bounty to sell. Your team is not setup for Melee combat with greatswords though, so use Plasma and Grenade Launchers. Also, the other problem with greatsword combat is your followers can only carry one melee weapon so you are giving up putting whipping canes on them which is needed to guarantee captures. Are plasma guns better than coilguns? They seem about equal, in my experience.
The crafting requirements are somewhere in the crafting section's (?) button. Also, what's up with H.U.L.C armour?
