Is the King's dinner event supposed to end right when the King stands up to shout a name? Is that a cliffhanger? Anyway it's a good game. Since it's a sandbox it would really be a shame if you have to split it by chapter though.

Oh It wont be so bad. The game will pick up right where it left off. All the repeatable content will carry over. The file size will be reset, and it needs to be since that's the biggest impediment to people giving the game a shot.
It will be awesome because then I can animate like a madman again with my new compressing skillz. Also I can add in all these repeatable scenes I've been wanting to do. More story events, just all around fun.



And yes cliffhanger. It's easier to pretend I'm making a Ecchi anime with a western director that way I guess lol.

Sounds like you're moving in the right direction, glad to hear it. I just now finished daily errands and to-do list and have time to sit down and really dive into the game, will report back my thoughts and impressions.

Also, may I ask what compression software you're using and how you settled on that program? I've started reading up on data compression and such and would like to help out the F95 compressors if I'm able.

The easy way to say this is that you can not use what I am using for what you want to do. You'd be much better off DMing some of them or posting in the compression thread. Whatever can take down 6gb into 700mb is something I have no idea about.

So I've just passed the prologue into the sandbox part of the game, and I have absolutely no idea what the fuck is going on. I get that the MC also doesn't, but he doesn't react at all to it, as if this is all totally expected and normal, and that makes no sense.

EDIT: Had a conversation with the tomboy childhood friend where the MC explained the situation to her, but the explanation was skipped and I still don't know what is going on, but they seem happy enough with it. The pacing in this really needs some work.

I think I'm one of those who have the game crash at a certain point, where I assume it has been mentioned, aka the Neko scene after the sandbox part of it opened. Ayame's scene went through just fine though, since I went through that before Neko's.

Also, I had a peek into the credits. It's good on my end. You can use my characters.

Milks patreons for 2 years with slow "progress" and still one of the main characters advertised not having any real scenes with MC. Please support patreon for special codes and scenes(basically half cooked assets) UwU. Abandon game after 6 months of "stalled updates".

Releases the game, fully completed with animations, with every char bangable from the start. At end of game asks you to check f95zone and patreon for updates.

This is a god among men, I just finished the game and the 6 gb was totally worth it, though I think the size maybe causing some issues when skipping too fast through the scenes (crashed a few times). But man the game was way better than I expected from a "new" game, pretty mad. Looking forward to where this leads once you have the resources to polish this up.

Yeah I don't know how clear the credits make it, but I have not designed a single model for this game, all are created by others. And that includes non character models. People who I have never talked to until now. Is there some secret web fourm where you guys hangout? I feel like koikatu modders are like forest creatures that just turn invisible. It's not meant to be taken too seriously, there's catgirls and a spaceship and 1000 year old goth lez doms. Be water my friend and flow with it, it may take you somewhere you like.

as I progress through the game, the laggy animations pretty much cut down to zero, so it's just all the early sex scenes that have that issue for me.

No worries about the save files. It's better for me to venture into the game itself fresh, and go through it proper, so I can have the plot going as well.

As for the web forum you asked on where some of us are hanging around, we're in a Koikatsu discord server. Though, I do have to give you a heads up on it. I'm probably the most lenient, and laxed of the character creators in there. I'm not sure what others might think of this as I don't go asking each one of them about it. However, from what I see on how you run things; the game itself, patreon, and such, I'm chill with this.

Other than that, well, I'm amused on seeing the models used. They are kind on the older side of things, haha. I'll pluck in two of the several that already have been updated.
