Wow I am amazed, wonder what you did in the latest version but this time I can actually see the 3D things not blurry break up pieces and it's complete and I play the game totally till the end at least in the demo version that is.

The game is pretty good, just that, as I play as a shaper during earlier there is somene near a shrine a woman I think and when I use my shaper option during conversation as I am a shaper then it stated that I needed moonfall reputation which was the other choice not the shaper choice.

The game is pretty good solid, thanks for sharing and yeah I will buy it once you release the full version on steam. Sorry I can't support via patreon though sadly.

It's good so far, but Kaywin's sexual preference takes me out a bit. This is a minor complaint, not like it affects the game in a colossal way.

I do not understand giving any characters a sexual preference in porn games that allow to pick your sex. When I pick my character's sex I would expect to have all the sexual interactions available to me, though with a minor change. It gives me less incentive to pick the sex I want to play as, when the other sex just has more to it.

So far it is just one character, maybe more (only played female), but to me it is a red flag.

I dunno, all the courtesans are bisexual since they're hookers (at least in name), but expecting everyone in the world to be bisexual is just too much for me to justify.

You don't have to justify it, that is the best part of fiction. Innoxia's, Lilith's Throne didn't justify the main and side characters being bi, she just gave them the bi preference so people can have the option.

It's your game do what you think is right for it. Again, the game is good so far. I'll accept the choices you make, as long as the game continues to be fun and interesting.

the worst thing that could happen to this game was a female player. good luck ever getting the funds to pay for cg's for both. you unnecessarily doubled the cost, and slowed down the progression for the original player.

A female MC was one of my initial promises and the game is built around it. Not really causing me any issues with dev.

yeah good luck with getting the art of all the scenes. theres reasons why games like breeding season failed and this is the exact road
I thought breeding seasons failed because one of the devs was so lazy, that it made the main artist leave and make his own game that has way more content than breeding season

It has been a few years since I looked into it. I agree cloud meadow is not very good, but it is still more content packed than breeding seasons was. Both Hbomb and S-purple are not good people, and it was more of a mixture of both of their actions ultimately cancelling breeding season due to mismanagement and petty revenge.

So are there F-M animations with Female MC? Considering there are like 5 female presets it should be a crap ton of work to make Female MC animations and adjust every single one of them.

Asking because i made a female MC and i'm afraid i'll have to start all over again, not a fan of lesbian "dildo" animations.

Still a damn good game.

Man, the problem was actually that S-Purple spent around 20 minutes a month working on his art and vacationed every second month(former backer here, I checked his art blog daily until I got disgusted enough to leave. Status updates that were the same six unfinished catgirl faces, with barely any addition week over week, then boom, away for a month) and HBomb had no idea what he wanted the game to be.

He didn't just want a breed forever on a loop with progressively more monsters and areas to visit, no, he needed a plot he had no idea how to implement and very few people asked for. Every time he hit a wall, he decided to try out a new coding language he read a synopsis about, tear everything down, and waste six months re-adding old content piecemeal, charging people 10 buck a month for access to "unfinished UI demo vA.0001.001a" with no content in it, and when he finally had something technically functional? Shit, now what do I do, I still have no idea how to implement a story, and S-Purple only has 2 finished pieces of art from this six month wait, better tear it all down again, but only after I charge a 10er for "vA0.001.003b, now with two art images and three placeholder assets, but still no functional breeding".

Every time HBomb tore it all down, so did S-Purple. Nothing ever approached completion. Fuck, the best the game ever was was when it was all reskinned legend of krystal/mario is missing shit. I was watching that piece of shit burn from day bloody one, man. The problem wasn't that they had too much art to add, it's that the artist did nothing, and the self-appointed writer/coder had no idea how to do either for more than a few months at a time.

There's a big difference between that mess and a dev who planned on a feature implementing that feature early in dev.

It's mostly pixel art for now. The next big update will probably include a gallery feature as by now I have a fair amount of CGs but they don't naturally integrate into the game.

Yes, there are F-M animations, and the work isn't that difficult as most of the animations are pixelart. However, do expect the vast majority of the game to cater to a male MC audience. For now there are two F-M scenes, involving Iron Gregarion and Hatsuo. More scenes will be added later in dev.

You can also freely change your gender/anatomy at Golgo's shop. It's mostly handwaved as magic.

The one major problem I have with this game, is that avoiding battles seems to be the worst possible option, since you lose out on gaining experience from combat. If you are able to keep avoiding fights with no benefit, you will eventually get into a forced fight later in the game that you can not win since you are not at a high enough level to win.

Yes, that is something I'm aware of, and despite a lot of options to avoid combat, ultimately the bulk of gameplay for Memoirs of a Battle Brothel revolves around, well, battles.

I attempted to address this by offering players the ability to have "consequence-free" simulated battles via the Blood Pit you can build in the guild hall, and the one in Dockside. This lets players grow their characters without having to actually "kill/seriously injure" anyone, although a full pacifist run isn't possible in the current build anyhow.

The latest update, both patron and public, expanded this function.

My suggestion is that you could either give Exp to the player for battles they avoided, or make exp and battles independent of each other and instead give the player exp from say the quests the player completes.

Yeah, I'll probably do that once the game enters a more combat-focused stage, which should probably be soon. It's hard balancing encounters, especially with the current free-roam mission design, so I haven't paid too much attention to it yet.
