I can't quite say for sure what will separate the free version from the steam/itch finished versions yet. But we'd like to make sure it's being both fair to our fans who can't afford the game, but still being worth while for those paying for the full version. (Of course anyone who has a lifetime of paying $15+ on our patreon/kickstarter will already be receiving the finished version without any further cost.)

Some of the plans for additional content could include after story events for routes that take place further along after the ending. Expanded routes for Lola, Zoey and Bridget. Dedicated routes for Charlotte, Rosa/Allie. etc.
Oooohhh endgame content that sounds pretty good to me in fact I like endgame content so much that I downloaded a mod for Fallout New Vegas that adds the cut content that was after all of the endings of Fallout New Vegas that due to time constraints wasn't added into the final game and it's called Functional Post Game Ending in case anyone's interested I also bought DLC that added endgame content to fantasy life I also bought the DLC for Fallout 3 that adds stuff after the ending of the game but unfortunately I don’t remember what the DLC was called......

Little preview early sketch concept for Bridget's redesign. We won't see it in the game for a little bit still, but figured I'd jump in here and share it a bit.

bridgetpre.png Update 0.15 should be a interesting one, as I believe I brought it up a bit sometime ago.

It's focus is to adjust the writing and expand on much of what's seen early in the game. Just as a rough example, currently in update 0.14 the first day of the game is about 7000 word count. While "Episode 1" is 17,000 word count, with more explaining on the general story of the academy being seen and ease players into it's world setting better.

We hope it'll be seen as a good update for the game, even with considering what it's doing with focus on fixing up the earliest writing and first impression area new players would see for the game, general feeling of what to expect. It felt like it was time to bring the writing of these areas up to par with our more recent writing to match it better.

(Note on Bridget: We're aware that she might seem similar to Zoey? This is a early concept sketch, so we'll be monitoring how closely she looks. One thing to keep in mind is that she's receiving a slight personality change with the redesign.)

Don't get me wrong I don't hate how the character looks or anything like that I just find it kinda weird that you felt the need to censor the boobs and the vagina on a porn forum.

Sorry about that! Wasn't really intended, normally I tend to censor these sorts of previews by default. So I guess it's a bit of force of habit at this point. :p

It’s fine it’s just that I can’t fap to it without feeling really guilty that the precious little angel is staring at me while I’m doing it I know she’s a fictional character but she’s real to me dammit!

Just saw your patreon post and while I am excited for the 200 save slots (which I'm sure would be more than enough for every choice in the game.) and the mod support. (Even if I'm not quite sure if anybody would actually use it since it's not like with Skyrim were hundereds of mods are uploaded daily some of which are dlc sized ones heck some of them are pretty much free triple a games.) I'm worried that it might get abandoned like many other ABDL projects or even kickstarter projects in general and I don't want to start any beef with anyone so I won't mention their name (Though if you've ever been to foxtaletimes I'm sure you know exactly who I'm talking about.) But somebody else upgraded to a better engine and actually abandoned the project and it had less things in it than before they upgraded to the better engine and they had no way of downloading the older version from before they upgraded.

Overall it should be a good change for everyone, from the game being more stable across different computer builds and os to just generally playing. We have a couple of small features in mind, but we'll be looking to open up mobile support possibly by Dec 5th's update.

The whole mod/patch support thing I can't say for sure if any fans will create anything, but if they do. We'll in most cases offer to advertise them. I'm no expert in all of this, but my understanding of this support is that if there's something like NTR that fans wish to create a mod/patch for the game. I can't say how the process is for all of that, but the option could be there. Same with patching out visuals if they aren't suited to someones liking.

I'll be honest, I do understand the concern as there is quite a bit of projects that do end up abandoned or let alone the whole kickstarter cash out situations in the past with game projects. It's one of those things where it's hard to really assure people, as you never know anymore sadly. A whole lot can happen in the time of development. Once again, the whole hard to assure people over the internet thing.

But for myself personally, I enjoy working on MA and of course funding has helped get it to where it's at today and continuing to see it help us even further. I'm sure I've mentioned it recently, but we have 4 cg scenes that were made this month already to begin our big push for 4-5+ cg scenes each month. Two of those scenes offer a different version based on your choice made prior. Much of the work progress overall is enjoyable, even if there is some stressful times with trying to balance my personal job, free time and project work. I'll continue to work on MA and our projected roadmap for finishing the game will still be sometime early 2022, possibly even late 2021.

I'll admit, it here. I, myself take maybe 5% of monthly funding and it isn't that I don't want to earn money from being able to work on MA or future projects. It's just that I know if I were to take say 25-30% or more cut each month, it's going to affect our other team members who also enjoy working on the game, but also makes sense they'd want some funding for their hardwork. It's not about being seen in a different light compared to them, but just naturally if a creator enjoys creating something, they'll do so within their power to make it.

To wrap it up, I knew as things were getting more busy lately. I was going to have to step down from handling engine work myself and pass it over to someone else, as before doing that. I was taking on writing, engine work and management. With getting someone to handle the engine work, it's a safe bet to assume most engine/programmers 9 times out of 10 will know Ren'py, rather than Tyrano, cloudnovel, etc. Plus with the timing of everything going on right now with our focus on adjusting and bringing the early game's content up to par with the writing quality seen from the route parts. It was seen as a good time to do this now rather than many more months later.

Our engine/programmer rest assured already has the content for update 0.15 ready and transferred over to Ren'py. It's been tested and the gui isn't 100% finished, it'll still feel very close to how the game felt and looked still. The gui issues are more about missing elements between tyrano vs ren'py, so we'll get those fixed up and looking more polished soon.

As for existing content, aka days 1-19 and the route parts. We're clearly adjusting the early stuff right now and working our way through, along with adding awesome new cg art to pair up with the updates. So we'll get all of that existing content moved over to Ren'py as we continue our process above, but in the mean time. We'll be offering two or three different versions of the game starting Nov 4th.

Update 0.14 - Will contain days 1-19+ route parts and give a overview of what we have created and is in the process of being improved, while transferring over to Ren'py. These improvements of old content will be first seen publicly with update 0.15 on Nov 4th.

Update 0.15 - Releases Nov 4th, open to the public. Will show off a new and improved version of "Day 1" now labeled as "Episode 1". Before it was 7000 word count, now 17,000. The existing content for that area has had it's dialogue and text quality improved, pacing and flow of events working better, while also expanding on existing and adding new fitting moments to connect everything better.

Update 0.16 - Releases Nov 4th, exclusive to supporters on patreon/ks for a month. Will show off a new and improved version of "Day 2" now labeled as "Episode 2". Much like the above, word count has been increased and new stuff has been done to it.

So update 0.14 will always stick around as a showcase of the game, the other two updates will continue forward each month. Sorry for the long post, wanted to be as detailed as possible and open about our process with everything.

Just noticed you reached the first stretch goal and well on the way to hit the second one so I’m quite happy about that!
Thanks! ^^ It'll be a big help in our cg art push moving forward. While we won't hit some stretch goals, I'll have some further news on some of that after Nov 4th to share too.

I can’t wait to be able to finally play it on my android so I can play it even in bed when I should probably be sleeping like right now for instance. :p

A little update: We have 9 days to go on our kickstarter, with it currently sitting at about 133% funded. ^^ 1 remaining $400 oc side/support character slot remains while time lasts. Overall we're working ahead to ensure the new updates are much more complete than before.

A few outlines of what we're working on behind the scenes right now towards update 0.16.

1 of 3 expected cg scenes for episode 2 is finished.

Bridget's redesigned sprite is done. (Not seen in episode 2) New expressions being made to better fit each character's personality and feel better in general, every character sprite has received at least 2+ new mouth/eye/eyebrow pieces. (expected to be seen in update 0.17 for Dec 5th)

Writing on episode 2 is pushing towards being finished, as engine work is slowly starting on it.

Splash art screens for when a episode begins are completed, just missing chibi art to be added at a later date. (see image below)

If only I had a job I would absolutely pay for that character slot and make the character fulfil my cuck fetish.

Will the Chibi art have animations like the loading screens from Perpetual change?
While that would be very awesome! ^^ I can't quite say for sure yet, the original idea was to have it as a static image. But our video editor has made it clear to me they also tackle animation if given the right tools with the image files. So, if it isn't too costly we could see some simple animations with it possibly. :p

I'm not really up to date (sorry if those have been answered already) but :

- Does that mean we're getting a split from "games", like others that have worked with episodes have done?
- If so, is the Ren'py overhaul also planned for previous content or just new episodes?
- Will said episode 1 be fully completed before the planned release of the second? As far as I know there are still CGs missing.

No worries! ^^ I'll try to answer as best as possible.

(1) - I'm not too sure if this refers to more of a split like offering separate downloads for episodes or rather a split about something else? I'll assume for now its the above. We're going to test it update 0.16 (exclusive on Nov 4th) since it'll have both episode 1 & 2 in that update.

What we're going to test is having both episodes together in the game and just continue to add new ones onto it, without jump buttons like we have now that take existing players to the latest new content areas. The idea behind not offering jump buttons is that with Ren'py players should have support with their saved data to transfer save data from say update 0.15 > update 0.16 and I would like to think that would work with update 0.15 > 0.17 or so forth.

So right now to answer the main question here, we'll continue offering the game like we do now where we just add to it all in one download. Rather than a download for episode 1, then a download for episode 2, etc.

Jump buttons straight to new episodes vs save data working will be something we test. If feedback about save data alone isn't a great solution. We'll simply offer jump buttons once again moving forward.

(2) - The Ren'py overhaul or transfer is only going to add the new episodes, but existing content from the game is coming over to Ren'py with new episodes released.

Episode 1 for example is based on the existing "day 1" seen in update 0.14 instead of 7000 word count, it's 17,000 word count. The main thing is the existing content in day 1 has been improved on writing quality closer to how route parts feel like. This covers dialogue, pacing and among that. Existing content from day 1 has been expanded on and also new fitting moments that bring it altogether.

You get the idea hopefully, as for existing content aka days 1-19+ & route parts in update 0.14. That will in time be moved over to Ren'py. For now when Nov 4th comes around, we'll keep update 0.14 offered for download so that there's still that huge chuck of content in Tyranobulder's engine still offered. While offering the new updates.

(3) - We already have episode 1 already in Ren'py, fully tested and fixed up, ready to go for Nov 4th. ^^ Episode 2 is being worked on right now and will be done and ready for Nov 4th as well. Of course episode 1 will be update 0.15 & episode 2 will be in update 0.16

We do have some cg scenes ready for both episodes, episode 2 is sadly missing 2 of 3 expected scenes. (due to funding this month) But episode 1 has all of it's 3 scenes included. By Dec 5th we're looking to get the 2 missing scenes for episode 2 finished, along with having episode 3 release with all 3 of it's expected scenes.

Then moving forward, we'll always have all the cg art caught up with new episode releases.

Does that mean in the new engine you can put your old saves in the folder without everything breaking? Because I'm down for that!

Eyup! Well.. With update 0.15 moving forward you will be able to. (data from update 0.14 and before won't work, because of course the engine differences)

The one thing to note about saved data and how it'll work, is that I believe you must have a saved data slot towards the very end of episode 1 for it to be able to work properly.

So update 0.15 comes out on Nov 4th, you can save as much as you'd like. Long as one of those saves is at the very end of episode 1. Then when update 0.16 comes out for public on Dec 5th or if you're a supporter (patreon/ks) you'll have update 0.16 on Nov 4th instead. But you should be able to take your saved data across from update 0.15 > update 0.16, so you'd start right where you left off leading into the next episode. ^^

Cool. If only I had money to support the patreon oh well I’ll wait the updates come out regularly enough anyway.
