If the Dev isn't happy with how the game is turning out yet still releases updates without fixing it there is a problem. If you're not happy with how it is before releasing an update, then hold off on that update.
I think the updates are still solid. The main thing for me is the animations. People always want animations, but in practice they're hard to do. Most of the time, they end up being similar to this, and more comical than sexy. I kind of imagine the Benny Hill song playing as I watch them. But the dev has to balance wanting to get the update just right versus getting it out to impatient fans. You can always go back and tweak a render or fix an animation, and many devs do as they have time or learn new techniques. If the Dev isn't happy with how the game is turning out yet still releases updates without fixing it there is a problem. In practice that usually results in the fixes never being done. How many updates now has it been since the concert that was supposed to be added 'next time'? And how long has he been talking about fixing some of the early renders?Or they can release it and go back.
There is no right or wrong answer here. Also, the dev is waiting on new hardware to go back so even if they weren't happy they'd have people waiting long into next year which basically kills a project.
I don't know, you'll have to tell me the answer to that.In practice that usually results in the fixes never being done. How many updates now has it been since the concert that was supposed to be added 'next time'? And how long has he been talking about fixing some of the early renders?
It was 0.07, so six versions ago.I don't know, you'll have to tell me the answer to that.
And all that I can say definitively is that I've played a lot of games, and read a lot of comics, and 'I'll fix this later' hardly ever actually happens. All i can say definitively is that long breaks between releases usually spells doom for games unless you're one of the few whose fanbase will support you regardless while also call you out for milking and blue balling them.
So like i said, there's no real correct option. It was 0.07, so six versions ago.

My experience has been different, but we may follow a completely different set of games. A lot of fans aren't interested in past stuff being fixed either, since they may not revisit it and see it as delaying new stuff, so that's something else for the dev to consider. But a lot of devs do fix stuff. One big one that sticks in my mind is the infamous "centaur" render from Parental Love. One shot of the wife and two daughters made their asses look so big that they actually looked kind of like centaurs from that angle. The dev fixed that, and has also fixed a lot of past stuff in the game. I personally would love to see the animations be fixed in this one, because I do like to replay those parts. Or I'd be happy with them just being made static and letting dialog fill in the rest.It was 0.07, so six versions ago.

I don't know much about how the patches work, only know how to install and run them, lol. If that is true than I stand to be corrected, but then again the developer himself claimed that there were no incest involved in this game, so I went by that word there. But, I still like the developer's version of the story here, mostly for the sake of continuity since I played this game without the patch from the start and starting the patch now would be meaningless since I am already immersed in the plot here. The crux of my point is that the story is enjoyable and funny even without the incest patch involved....what...? they are in the game "for real". The patch only sets a variable in the existing game script. it's not making a non-incest game incesty, it's unlocking the actual incesty nature of the game.
I've always said I was waiting to upgrade the rig and have more free time before I go back over stuff. All of my time right now is consumed by adding new content, which I think people prefer over making old stuff look better. Since the rig upgrade is coming this month, I will likely start the remaster of the early renders and rewrite(probably going to take a fair bit of time to complete though), but NOT if it sacrifices new content. It was 0.07, so six versions ago.

Sorry about this, I was the one who caused this drama here. The reason I posted what I did was that you did not seem happy with how the game was turning out with the renders and other stuff. So, (Before I knew you were waiting on upgrading your system) I thought it might be better until you waited until you were happy with it before coming out with the next update. Those who love your game will be willing to wait for updates.I've always said I was waiting to upgrade the rig and have more free time before I go back over stuff. If they don't get burned out like Oppai AuteurOn the topic of rework/remaster of the game: On a game like this, I really don't mind starting over. I don't see why anyone would. If this was a pain in the ass sandbox grind game, I could understand dreading to start over from the beginning, but on a game like this? I don't see why not. It's mostly linear, and I'm sure everyone will remember which girls they like and which girls they don't want to see content with. All it'll be is: look at the new pretty pictures/animations and mainly just read the same story you've already read, which people seem to enjoy. Just sounds like a second round of good fun to me.
