I'm going to rant. What pisses me the most is that some Developers really have great ideas and they fuck it up by milking or disappearing, i really wanted to start making game on my own because a lot of good games get abandoned, but once i started learning modelling, its just to much.

I may be talking nonsense, but I see that many slowing down development when they achieve they are goals in Patreon, taking longer for new updates
kinda knew this woulld get abandoned once he started doing the dark version which seemed to delay the original game.

The one thing that gives me (some) solace is that his active light on Discord pings on once in a while. Whether that his him, his cat, or some wayward tremor moving his mouse, I have some hope he is still, at least, turning his PC on once in a while.
Yes, it sucks he disappears, and yes we're all here because we love Midlife Crisis and want to see it updated, and complete. However, if/when he returns, I do hope it is with a renewed vigor and confidence.... and if he doesn't return, well, at least MLC, though not complete, had a damn good run and is still one of the best VNs out there.

this game is not abandoned just the dev having seizures when he tries to communicate. He will upload this game in a pigeon courier so it will take time.

The latest we have on the abandoned tag is:
- Abandoned: used in the following cases:
- The developer states that the development has been permanently suspended.
- After 3 months of inactivity from the developer's public creator/crowdfunding accounts (Patreon, SS, etc), we will resolve special circumstances or scenarios on a case-by-case basis (no creator accounts, creators developing for free, Patreon accounts under review/ban).
- No game update has been released for an abnormally long period of time (>18 months).
- Game threads that are marked On-hold for over 6 months with no game update.
- Note: this prefix is only removed upon the release of a new update for purchase/download.

Personally I don't much like the 'abandoned' tag. It gives people an impression about a game which is often far worse than the actual circumstances but it's what we have.
It's been a while how many months has it been, many I think.
