Yea i closed the game its still the samenad also i put 2 save file one before i took the paper and other after.
.ini doesnt allowed btw do u want me the zip it or something. I could type here anyway:

The save isn't the problem (works fine when I load it).
Can you please try deleting the settting.ini, restarting the game and load your save again (without making any changes to the settings)?

EDIT 2: I Checked your save and it works fine for me. Does it still occur if you close the game and load your save?
If it does, would you mind sharing your settings.ini file as well?

Restarting the game also doesn't help. I have added my settings.ini file, too.

Thanks. Got the Pride book now. Maybe this event was missing to trigger the 4th blackmail. The 3rd with Victoria is already completed.

The triggering event was offering a wine refill in the backyard and then helping in the gym the next morning.

Before reading the questions, I want to share some suggestions first:

  You must be registered to see the links

• Don't extract the new game version over the old one. Please always create a new folder to avoid any problem
• Don't create path too long, Windows has some issues with long paths

Q. Where are my saves?
A. The saves are in saves folder, in the game path like you can see in the picture below.

Q. How can I transfer my saves from the old game version to the new one?
A. You have to copy saves folder from your old game path to the new one.

Q. Where do I find my game logs?
A. You can find your game logs into this path: %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Faerin Games\Midnight Sin
Once you have found Player.log file, please zip it and upload it here with the description of your problem. Please don't copy its file content and upload it here, because it is unreadble.

Q. I can't play the game in window mode with an ultra-wide monitor, how can I fix this?
A. As a workaround you can try this solution. Open the game once so it will generare some game files then close it. Go to the game path, then in saves folder, then edit the file settings.ini with notepad and change those values:
"Fullscreen": from true to false
"Resolution": from "2560 x 1440" to "what resolution you want, remember to use a standard one" also remember that is written width space x space height

Q. What is the difference between extra and basic versions?
A. The extra version has more videos or images during events for now.

Faerin I don't post in this cesspool often, but I felt the need to stop lurking in the shadows and give you a well-deserved shoutout for some Monday Motivation.

I have played all of your games, and have liked them all. Nothing is perfect, but you constantly release builds in a timely manner, abiding by your own self-imposed release schedule. Your organization, dedication, and systemic approach to game design are readily apparent in all your games.

I think it's important to realize that you do all this with a very small team, and still manage to perform like a AAA developer with much less funding. I applaud your willingness to break molds (sorry NLT) and try new things with your games. MM was a branch out into other game genres I enjoy, and I think it was a success! MS is shaping up to be a mix of MoTH and something else entirely.

I am really excited for this Anabelle route into the online game world. It has been done before in other games, but I am hopeful that with the skillsets I listed above, this will be one for the record books. I wouldn't be opposed to your next game shifting into something entirely like this (keep that in mind for your future polls). Keep up the great work and have a great week!

Your log shows a blank space in the path to the game which is producing an invalid path error.

System.Exception: Invalid path in TextDataProvider : 'D:/Downloads/ /Midnight Sin V0.1.8/Midnight Sin V0.1.8

Try removing the blank space or changing the folder name to "Midnight Sin V0.1.8".

Fortunately, after so many years of doing this, I can take (most of) the negativity with a grain of salt.
But reading a post like yours still feels just as good as when I started out.
It really does motivate me.
So back to the next update, which I have been looking forward to ever since I started working on this game

Are you playing a translated version? If so,try switching to English for that scene to see if that fixes the issue.
(Make sure to set the language to English and then load the save from before the problem.)
