I know you probably expect that we just look into our glass orb and see what's exactly happening in your computer and what's going wrong..
But i can tell you a little secret... I really doesn't work that way.

So unless you don't post what's happening that causes that crash, or what error message is given or even post a screenshot.
Well, there isn't much that we can do.

And just another little secret, just for you.
This game is completed for quite a while now, so there is good chance that you can find your problem with the search function (New problems with a game that already months completed is very, very rare.)

Either you're using an out-of-date extraction program (then get the latest 7zip - it's free) or the file you downloaded is damaged. Re-download in that case.

I'd try the latter first
