There's no explanation in the original post, or I'm just that blind, I need to play each part (and so download each part)?

each part is a "different" game, if you never played the game, i advice you to play part 1, and than part 2, etc... You dont need to play part 1 to play part 2 or 3 or 4, just play if you want to know the history.

Edit 1: you dont need save games from part 1 to play part 2 or 3 or 4. If you save your game in version 0.30 (part 3) you still can use this save in 0.31 (part 3), im just using this versions so you can get the idea

I was really surprised by the last update. I thought that they really decided to turn things around. It seems a little strange that today just so happens to be the day that they encounter a problem around the update. I would assume that this was just an excuse to make it seem like the problem was out of their hands, but I really just think the update wasnt completed. What even is a "internet" problem? The update files arent that big, its not like it could be that difficult to figure something out right? Im not really a computer person but in my experience of uploading things, its not that internet intensive.

Sad to hear, I guess it was kinda forced, but not a bad move at last; maybe people just hate the design of the gilf (which I didn't dislike at all), maybe a better model would be the one from Lunch time (my personal favorite Inusen's character), but that's just a theory: a game theory.
