So you want the update, but you also want the dev to waste his entire day talking to people in chat? And then you want to discuss stealing a dev's product in his own chat channel?
Many devs do that here without enforcing you to pay and pledge, heck they even listen to feedback here (CheekyGimp, KaffeKop, OrbOrigin, MikeMasters etc.). I said this before, it's not as if you get prospective players/patrons from social media or classifieds. Yet, they are consistent with their updates despite making less money than ICSTOR.
