I hope that Caroline content will be big enough and not like in her last dedicated update, where Aunt and her lady was added and they had more renders/action than Caroline had.

If Caroline had as many renderings as lesbians, then it would be an overdose

By the way, no one cares that the game now weighs 3 GB, and the upcoming update will have more than half of the current content (and of course animations)?
I very much doubt that the developer will allow this (after all, 0.6 is far from the end of game). What would he prefer? Transfer of all pictures in webp? With or without quality loss? Or simply increase the compression of JPG, as Luxee did, for example, for Parental Love 0.13 (from 90% quality to 78% quality), and received from 1.3 GB a little more than 700 MB... For example, this question excites me.

ICSTOR has excellent renderings and staging, but the quality of the final pictures sometimes is disgusting, and this applies not only to dark images, where the weight of 1920x1080 renders with characters is just 46KB-100Kb. Soap and soap...

With all due respect to the work of developers, of course.

Well, i will have my mega free 5gigs ready for Milfy City like for other games that i like.

I doubt any game will ever break the record of this one russian game in unity that had like 15 gb's or more.

> Why doesn't ICSTOR give us a release date

> Don't set a deadline you can't meet

These two thoughts are contradictory.
Only if you're looking to grossly oversimplify things and intentionally omit the idea of someone increasing the pace/efficiency of their efforts in order to meet a self-imposed target date. (Shrug)

I really don't have a stake in any of this beyond the average denizen of this forum, but I keep harping on this because I really just have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea that people are actually content with a system that has absolutely zero accountability. No checks, no balances, it just operates purely at the whim of whomever is collecting the money being thrown around.

It just seems like a horrifically inefficient (and borderline irresponsible) way to conduct an operation.

This is why patreon isn't a storefront. i don't disagree. I'm scared to pledge money on crowdfunding projects because I'm not exactly rich. So I don't. And then I feel a bit bad when the game turns out actually awesome.

Point being. While I agree with you, I think it's kinda dumb to expect "professionalism" in that way.

Promised release dates are why there are so many games nowadays released in a buggy, unfinished state.
The releases are by definition buggy and unfinished. I have only had real issues with MNL being so buggy at points you had to use previous versions to pass roadblocks. Real games are completed before release not while in development.

But that's what patronage in the best sense of the word is - you give money and you don't really know what to expect in return. You know the direction it's going and you hope that your money will do good.
Sure, larger Devs like ICSTOR etc. could move to platforms like Kickstarter, which have a different approach, but most projects start very, very small and grow because patreons like what's there, hope that it's going to flourish and hope that money enables the dev to do better. It's an update to update business, not an investment.
