Doesn't matter if the game could be developed cheaper or not, or if high quality indie games are being produced for less. People willingly donate to the development process though Patreon.

Exactly and as was mentioned above, this would imply that 25$ patrons would've gotten the beta today if it were to come out the 10th, hence we can expect another delay unless I'm somehow misinterpreting the whole 25$ patron 3 days early rule.
