Seriously, I think the industry is "fine" and self regulating, but the issue I see is the amount of "meh" games. The visuals/renders can be top tier, but there is nothing more to them really. That's my issue. Why should anyone try to be better than someone like Icstor given how much money he makes.

uhhhh so i actually never downloaded v06 because of the animation thing, so when 07 comes out, and if it does (with animations ofc), i'd be in for a super duper update. If this game doesn't turn out for the best, no problem, I'm fine with other games you know. I got pornhub, doujinshi, and other adult stuff so it should fine. Still, I would be really happy if he was telling the truth and we get exciting more content.

This sums up the main reason for all the criticism, sarcasm and memes that have been poured into this thread during the past 6 months +-. This is the reason why all those simpletons who come here claiming that if you don't support him you are not entitled to complain should shut the fuck up and use their brain cells for the first time in the day.

On a different note, I do believe Icstor when he says he's got mental issues; if I didn't, that would mean that he's not only a terrible professional but also an awful person. So I do believe him, I don't wanna think that someone would play with other people's emotions just like that.
However, I also believe that is no excuse for his constant lying. He is a LIAR. A liar with probable psychological issues that have nothing to do with his lying. Actually, in his message he stated that constant criticism started taking its toll on his health and was one of the mains reasons of his problems. Hold on a second, when you were making the most popular game on this site and putting out updates no one criticized you. All the complaining started AFTER you took those holidays (allegedly to recover form your issues) and especially after the constant delays. WTF are you talking about criticism leading to those mental problems when it actually started after those problems had already shown up (according to yourself)?
I hope he follows his treatment (hopefully he's not self-medicating) and gets better. I wouldn't wish a mental disease to anyone, not even my worst enemy if I had one. I'm not commenting on your position; I'm commenting on your logic. You falsely condemn him for using a straw man logical fallacy, then you use a logical fallacy yourself. He refuted your position with a personal example, then you went and changed the rules.
Now, you could say he used an anecdotal logical fallacy, but your statement didn't have statistics to refute, so that's iffy. Plus you kind of used an ad hominem - "then your not a regular person" - implying that he was abnormal.
My point - if you're going to invoke logic, be logical.

I get your point but that example is different. I pay taxes and am a part of the economy. A corporation not paying their taxes affects me. I like porn games but I don't pay the ones I like money, its just not how I wish to spend mine. Therefore it really doesn't affect me so I wouldn't be pressuring ICSTOR to get his shit together the same way I would Bezos to pay his taxes.
I get what your saying its just a different opinion then mine. I like Coldplay, their new albums suck. I stopped listening to them and supported bands who were moving in different directions.
