Don't worry, yes Milfy City has had & been delayed like crazy but what most people don't give dev credit for is that he has always finished his passed games. He has never abandoned a game completely.
Dev has made 4 games (i believe) before this game that have all been finished & all are incest games. So i understand why dev would lose some motivation of making a 5th incest game.
Lets try to look at this from his perspective for once.
The biggest mistake in my opinion that a dev well, any dev should NOT do = not communicate to patrons & fans consistently.
Which dev has done sadly & i believe this is why he/she is getting so much heat.
Bull fucking shit, he didn't finish all his past games, Incest Story 2 wasn't finished, it was rushed after he got bored working on it and a lot of characters in the game never had an ending and the ones that did got a pathetic rushjob. Even worse was Milf's Villa which wasn't even halfway done when Icstor AGAIN got bored with the game and put out a "final" 1.0 update after barely reaching version 0.3 or 0.4 that rushed the game to an ending that was entirely unsatisfying and fucked people over.
Sure technically he "finished" the games since he put out one last rushed ending update, but in any worthwhile sense of the word he did NOT finish either of those two games.
This is going to sound very egotastical, but that's doesn't make it less true, I am an artist. ICSTOR is an ideas man. He has half decent ideas, but hires writers and coders, then sets the renders up himself. Hell, he even has his patrons test the game for him. I write, code, set-up, and render all by myself. Even without the money, my projects will still be created. I want to create. I have passion and drive, he doesn't. That's what seperates an artist from a creator/developer. Creators and developers are just fancy titles. He wants to make things but doesn't care about them. He has almost 0 drive. He is simply there to say "Oh dudes, check out this great idea" and when the idea takes too long, he gets bored and wants to move one, without being held accountable to deliver a product. No passion or drive.
But he's not particularly talented. The story of every game he makes is exactly the same, the animation is mediocre at best, and Milfy City is the only game he's ever put out with models that were anything but average. You can basically sum up every game he's never made with "Creepy little brother who is meant to be 15 but is called 18 fucks his sister that is meant to be 13 but is actually 18, his milf mom, slooty older sister, and occasionally some other women.... Also he sexually assaults them while they're asleep." The only thing he's good at is altering preexisting character models into vague approximations of attractive women. His only real talent is working on something for a year, getting bored of it, half assing it to an end, and then moving to the next thing he'll get bored of in a year. The dude is a snake oil salesman, and Patreon is the crowd of local rubes he suckers into paying for it.
Oh yeah, can't wait for double the delays now. "Hey guys, ICSTOR here, I'm gonna be going on break because my mental head space is double plus ungood. Working on these 2 games, about moms fucking their sons, I mean land ladies that are fucking the tenants they gave birth to, is like mega super duper hard, so I need to take a couple months off. I won't be pausing my patreon. No Refunds."

Keep in mind that Patreon functions on a low sunk cost concept. Let's say I decide to donate to a Patreon. I think to myself "What is the lowest amount I could justify paying per month? Hmmmm... $5. I wouldn't even notice that on my credit card statement." and before I know it I've been subbed for a few years, and I've paid three times what a real video game would cost. Most of the people who pay in do so in that way, they give him a relatively low amount of money and therefore don't care if they're being scammed because they're being scammed of the cost of grabbing lunch from a fast food restaurant.By the Goddess!

That's not how icstor does his games though, theres usually action on first releases.
I just heard the news, lmfao what a fiasco. It's such a shame that nobody can just do a fan made update or something. This guy really knows how to string people along and keep the con going. Oh well, at least we can look forward NLT Medias future work. I heard that Being A DIK game was pretty good too.

The Fans of Milfy City are offered 2 choices in his vote... either get an unsatisfying ending in 2 Updates or allow him to work on 2 titles in hope that eventually they'll get more Milfy City along the "original" "concept"... it's really not surprising that the vote goes the way it does... if anything I am surprised to see the other option to get that many votes.By the Goddess!

To be precise... I don't think working on 2 titles will change anything on his attitude and work ethic, but I can see the reason why the vote goes the way it does
He really sounds like someone who gives up easily, but thats not really ADHD lol. He's just superficial and easily boring. ICSTOR the type of dude to leave his wife midsex to go sleep because he's burnout.
I would assume that the "original plan" was to wrap up with version 1.0 or perhaps 1.1/1.2 with "bonus content". That would be 4 (or maybe 5-6) updates, vs 2 under his current plan. Have there been any previews for his new game project?
