I think it's been said already, in a hundred different ways. Until the dev's Patrons wake up and leave en masse, I don't think anything's going to change.
Love they ask him to finish V7 before starting his new project. He didn't even finish V6 lol.
but after the 4th chapter, it will be ok to drop it, that's what his defenders will say

Ok he might not be the constant rapist he was in the previous titles... still his character is more than questionable and rather unlikeable as the others... he is just rapy with one of the girls.
I can't agree with this statement... well maybe if you concentrate on the games of the category "dead within alpha phase".
But most games that survive Version 0.5 tend to have either an unique story, unique gameplay or exceptional graphics (for indi made porn games).

I think his slow work hides something strange. Okay, money can go to the head, but if he kept working on the same levels he would increase his status. I think that behind his slowness lies the fact that it is not "all the flour of his failure"; that is, someone help him and he stopped doing it at some point.

Started a new project, and he didn't even finish the first chapter .. just 10%, and he expects financial support?
He commented that stopped for a while MilfC to start this project....after months, only 10%?(he doesn't even pretend to try anymore ..)
The best thing to do is change your DEV name and start over!!
When you see negative comments on your own official page ... it's because it really got ugly ..
As expected the new support Dev was just a way to save time .. (some pics, promises, praise and nothing more)
Patreon gets his slice of the cake and if it goes on for years ... (who cares)
In a global financial crisis, and competent people willing to work in need of support.
And they keep paying those who don't deserve it... worse by detracting those who do not support blindly ..
It got so sad, I can't even joke about it anymore ..

So the update is still being worked on... but progress on it is gonna be even slower (still at 80%)? Is that even possible? I don't really understand Patreon and stuff like that, but how is this acceptable/legal? This legitimately seems like a scam. "I'm trying not to lose interest" and "even after chapter 2 or 3" are major red flags, it seems like he's implying that you should expect that to happen. I mean it's happened with everything else he's done but that doesn't mean it's acceptable. Is this just a troll?
Sorry for jumping on the bandwagon but this is extremely disappointing. This dudes making enough money he could hire someone to finish it, obviously that's not gonna happen. Should be marked 'on hold.' I'm new to this whole scene, is this attitude/business practice for these games/creators par for the course, or is this guy just an exception? Makes me real hesitant about the whole 'becoming a patron' thing.

Lucky for us there is only a rather small group of Devs running questionable operations... however a common fear is if they keep beeing succesfull the number will eventually and steadily increase.
I'd always advice to watch potential Devs for a while... I have kept watching the Devs I am supporting now for atleast 3 Updates, if the content and update cycle stayed mostly stable (+1 one week at most) in that time I have felt secure enough to put my trust in them... and not regretted it.
The only regretful investments I had made in the past were based on fast decisions.
Also did you guys notice how excited he was in his first post announcing "Project X" and how much it deterriated in that post quoted above?
If he already feels like this after a few weeks of development I have no hopes for the future of this project
Iam just glad that we still have Devs like Dr. Pink Cake. He deserves every Penny he make and more. Very good content, weekly information about his work etc. The best dev on Paetron.

The current version available (0.6e) was released November of last year. So it's been a while. Before this Project X announcement or whatever happened the last thing I can find about an update is from May.
