Feel like we need a pinned thread in the Dev Help section on "Best Practices for Developers: Maintaining Good Relations With Patrons" and "Best Practices for Developers: Project Planning and Tracking". This whole sub-market is so play-it-by-ear that this stuff is rampant.

It is honestly starting to get to be too much with these "devs". It's not going to stop unless their whales stop supporting them. You can kind of tell which games are gonna make it because they take the money and expand their team. Seeds and Alansyia are examples of how to do this right.

- consistent updates

- communication

- have a team building the game

- get a publisher/platform

Since this game is no where near completion, and clearly production ended a year ago, further discussion here is moot and off topic. This thread unfortunately needs to be locked for the good of people who continue to think this game is actually playable, when it isn't.

the game is dead
maybe... but technically he is right about "the game is playable"...
You'll start with a new perspective in this genre and come to be intrigued only to be disappointed by failing continuality of this "fresh wind" and finally end with an open end and plenty loose ends

Imagine a thread getting On Hold when it becomes apparent that the dev does nothing but lie and supposedly work on other games different from the one discussed in such threads.
Crazy idea, right?

last year he started the release at the end of October/early November and took until mid December to finalice his unfinished work if I remember correctly
Not that it matters: Release of 0.6b was October 14th, 0.6d was Dec 1st and 0.6 was Dec 2nd. Remember he "forgot" to include 13 animations in 0.6d so 0.6e came out a day later.
More likely started working on the animations late Novemeber and didn't finish everything in time for a November release. Then said "fuck it" in the middle of the work, kept several scenes without animations and just put out what he had.

Wasn't that the non-story Christmas "update"?
That was two years ago. Everything that wasn't 0.6 came out in 2018:
v0.1 - Jan 2018
v0.2 - May 2018
v0.3 - June 2018
v0.4 - August 2018
v0.5 - November 2018
Xmas - December 2018
v0.6e - December 2019
