If that happens then he will have only himself to blame. He might think a lot of people are going to exit his patreon the moment it hits.

It's not a scam (that I am aware of). Yet wouldn't choose to be a Patreon myself. This man has managed to create a very unique scam. Technically pledges come with no expectation of a return product so you can't really do anything about it. It boggles the mind that this has worked for so long.
Edit: no, I don't think this was originally designed as such but it's quite evident he realized the potential eventually.
There is none to blame. People are invested in the story, and want to contribute to it, because they can relate, what is happening that I am unaware of?If that happens then he will have only himself to blame.
Haven't played 0.6c so wouldn't know.whats the difference between 0.6c and 0.6e
ehhhh, that would apply to him if he stated this was the last, but he's not stating the game as completed or abandoned, we all know that if your not stating the truth about what your doing it can still be considered a scam. Ofc your point is true if all his patreons are only doing it because either at the time or now only care about the game as it is, but continuosly selling hope is what most scams tend to do.Scale means that if you provide value many people at 15$ to 100$ per month over time, that becomes quite a large amount of money. For some people the 0.6e version is maybe itself worth 15$ per month? Do you know how much some people pay to be with webcam girls? I mean when people get passioned about something, they can be ready to pay up unreasonable amounts of money. That isn't itself a scam?
A little morecome check back when the pandemic is over.
I'm not getting paid to defend this dev, so sure he is a scamer. And then what?ehhhh, that would apply to him if he stated this was the last, but he's not stating the game as completed or abandoned, we all know that if your not stating the truth about what your doing it can still be considered a scam. i feel like this is something that came to just have the characteristics of a scam and at this point if it looks like shit and it smells like shit its probably shit.
1) maybeIs this game dead? Is it worth the play?
Yes and Yes.Is this game dead? Is it worth the play?
I'm actually doing a for-fun Caroline run right now. It's still entertaining enough for a couple of hours while my other computer does it's virus scan/defrag BS. Her route is the most complete (and the most rewarding). Is this game dead? Is it worth the play?
Yes , even if it's dead, I've enjoyed it a lotIs this game dead? Is it worth the play?
Have you used Shazam? So about 4 hours ago, I mentioned I was on my standard Caroline run, and I'm up to the date on the bench towards the end of the game where she's saying all the things that happened to her with Charles.
I always enjoyed the music on the first part of that scene and since I have about 50-60 VN songs on my iPod already, would anyone have ANY idea what the music is for that scene.
I don't want any wise-crack comments. I know I'm looking for a candle to light in a very dark cave here but you never know who would have the answer.
much of the music is made by Kevin Macleod maybe when you browse through some of his stuff you'll find it. isn't there a credit file in the game somewhere? So about 4 hours ago, I mentioned I was on my standard Caroline run, and I'm up to the date on the bench towards the end of the game where she's saying all the things that happened to her with Charles.
