It wasn't JUST that though. It was the day AFTER Shitstor's radio silence window ended.

The uprising was that we were at time-expired, and the mods weren't applying the tag. Which, in turn, just gave more credence to 'special favor status' from the site for Shitstor (or at least the posts went).

Given the site actually DID apply the tag, the chances he'll ever be on whatever bender he was on then, again in the future, is pretty nil. He'll abuse his paypigs and this site's rules to cash in until his grandkids retire.

Note for people who don't know or want to research: The game debuted in 2018, with the game making it to 0.5c by November, 2018. V0.6 of this game was released mid 2019, and depending on which version you call the real one since it trickled out in micro-installments (v6, 6b, 6c, 6d and 6e), you could sort-of claim 6e as late as December, 2019. But V0.6 was really like May, 2019.
Since then, like CLOCKWORK, to avoid this site's 3-month radio silence ABANDONED tag, we got an announcement on Patreon every 88 days, give or take a day or two. Until June, 2021, when he missed the window.
Promising updates every two weeks, he sheepishly released a 10/15 minute update in July, posted on August 6, and then went radio silent again until November 18. Even though his Patreon site was down, he MISSED the 90-day window, so this game SHOULD have the ABANDONED tag AGAIN, but he's getting some lenience for some reason (ask the staff).

TL;DR: The game is only NOT marked ABANDONED by the grace of the mods and staff. It should be by site rules. Consider what you do with your money carefully.
You can't argue with this. It's all absolutely correct.

I'd like some answers tbh.

Yeah he ain’t, trying to compile pictures of his previous patreon posts and proofs of misconduct and manipulation.

went through the subscribestar legalities, there is a clear case of fraud and a history of false advertising.
It will be sent to the team of Subscribestar, Patreon and Europol cybercrime bureau.
Well, I wish you luck in your fap master endeavors.

Save your time, they just gonna say you ain't a Patron you can't complain. I was Patron but when I smelled rip off I stop, also glad I did because now I support a game I really like and the best part the guy is involved with us, we have our opinions and he listens to us. And when he had personnal issues he let all his Patrons know and he stop payments even thou WE all told him not to. Real life is more important but he still did it and we didn't pay for 3 months, just glad he is good now and happy that WE all had his back. Sometimes is not about the game is about who's running it and how he does things. Still have 1 more game to support but has to wait a little bit. And since I just retired offer myself to 2 games to translate to spanish for free. I've played games in english and spanish and you crack up english version but then the spanish version lacks those words to crack you up and I have sense humor for spanish people to rofl.

Last week he wrote that in the best circimstances he is able to release Judys update this year. Obiously he is not able to complete the game (30% approximately) neither this nor the nexy year. He also offered not to donate him, saying something regarding hidden gems among other deelopers who need financial support.

rofl .. ppl. seriously ... first posting after first release was 2018 ......
now go take a look into the changelogs at page 1 ....
do the math .......
and now come back telling me
that in 3 years.. he wasent able to finish a fucking renpy game........we are going into year 4 .....
tell me that this is not a scamm like 99% of all games arround here...
this is a typically scam sh1t with porn games.....they need new hardware, they work attrackt paetrons grab the money and piss off ...
there is comming a new blockbuster game ? oww they come back to work again get some money from donors and paetrons too.. they piss off again ...
99% of ALL devs of such games here are like this ...

best example check the game. girl house ....
and check the game being a dick ..than tell me the differenz ...
in this area of por games, ther are just 5 to 6 games who actually deserv paetrons and donors .....because this admins did a great job and workd and finished a game. ....

check how many games, unfinihsed games land on steam ... and how much they cost....they want 40 or 50 euro for a fucking update with 200 renders and 1000 words ......

so tell me is the dev of this game different to all others ?

ICSTOR wants to pretend it is, but we all know the truth.
Development is "supposedly" going on..... That's about it. Very infrequent updates with minimum communication and repeatedly missed deadlines with weak excuses (It gives off that "crowdfunding scam vibe" IMHO). These days it's mosty interesting as an example on how not too produce games and the total PR collapse of a previously loved producer (somehow he's is still making money though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). It's a sad story really...
Thank you guys for very detailed answers.

If there's one lesson we should learn from all this, hobbyist devs are the most reliable, not to mention being decent people in general. Making something the creator loves the way they want to for a small audience they genuinely appreciate and personally communicate with beats overhyped ren'py blockbusters any day.
NLT proves otherwise

Guys, is this project still alive?
The dev is keeping it alive through 'promises' that over the last two years he hasn't kept. I will admit, the game is good enough to play for the few hours of entertainment it gives, if you can deal with wonky writing in places and unfinished routes.

It's not a bad game, the problem is, the finished game will probably and most likely never see the light of day.
