Control came first, that got finished. Villa was the one that got cancelled by a rushed ending at a very early stage and was followed by Milfy City. All the promises that such a thing won't happen again at the beginning of City were due to the fiasco with Villa.
Thanks for the clarification.

I just looked at Milf's Control there; it wasn't ever one of the games I worked on. My bad.

My workload was:
1.) Taboo Request
2.) MILF's Villa
3.) Milfy City.

...so I've offically stepped up the amount of stuff I'm doing. I still have zero financial interest in the Patreon account, and will only be paid for my work upon completion of the game.
Good to hear that you are not directly connected to scam operation run on Patreon.

Can I ask what are you now helping with beyond writing? Community management on f95?

Have a nice day man.

Absolutely, my original remit was simply ICSTOR sends images and a couple of sentences. I then have to write the scene.

I'm now doing the following:
1. Hiring and interviews;
2. Some project management stuff focused around keeping the ball rolling;
3. Drafting scripts and advance plot planning for ICSTOR;
4. Specifically, I have drafted the story for the girl that you encounter in the pool and sent that to ICSTOR. I believe renders for that will be done by the new 3D artist;
5. My actual job (when I'm not writing smut) is a lawyer, so I also give ICSTOR legal advice on various things every now and then as they crop up. Advice on DMCA takedowns, copyright, etc.;
6. When ICSTOR's Patreon got taken down by the Trust and Safety Team, I was the one who negotiated with Patreon on ICSTOR's behalf in order to get the account back up and running; and
7. I also do some proofreading on announcements as and when ICSTOR asks me to.

I'm not involved in community management in any way, either on here or on the Discord. A few months back on this thread I was posting that I was completely in the dark as to the status of the project and had literally no idea what was going on.

I call this ironic.

Basically Icstor isn't a developer anymore. He is the Publisher of Icstor games and is actually employs developers to create games that he funds and takes credit for.

I wouldn't describe that as a fair or accurate assessment based on my experience of how things are currently working. It definitely isn't a situation where everything has been outsourced and ICSTOR is just sitting there.

He still produces 90%+ of the renders and animations at present, trains new 3D artists in the programs, etc. He's also still the one calling the shots on what direction the game goes, and my proposed scripts do get edited/rejected/redrafted substantially.

I would say that ICSTOR and his programmer probably have the two heaviest workloads in the team; probably followed by the new 3D artist. I'm way down the pecking order in terms of complexity and weight of my work.

Oh God, I'm not one of those courtroom lawyers.

I'm in the highly specialised area of "sewer law." It's as exciting as it sounds.

I appreciate all the info you have been providing. And I gotta ask, is there a way to explain the update gap? I'm genuinely curious, from your posts it sounds like things are moving, images are being made, people are being hired, and the game is getting made, which is great. I don't know if you have the answer or not, but I personally would have a hard time being convinced there has been a constant workflow on his end during the gap.

Not wanting to compare my game to his, but with a consistent workflow I have produced a lot of game in the time since the last update. Or will I have my mind blown by two years of content when this thing comes out? (I hope for the latter)

My dear lama friend, people seem to be in fact hired, all the cogs are moving, money is shifting hands and steam comes from chimneys. But all this manpower, brainstorming and innovative machinery is adjusted to producing excuses, pushing long awaited premiere of grand new update and building up hype. There is no game as such no more. In fact we became the game, you and me and participants of this forum. We are part of one grand social experiment with unknown purpose and possibly inexistant climax. There was attempt to put end to this masochist ritual we all participate in by slaping it with Abandoned tag. Yet the hope was trickling down in a form of remote date when all dreams of fellow degenerates come true. This ellusive date is still materialised in a form of numbers which seem to correlate with passing time.
