Onyx was doing a good job playing the 'relentlessly optimistic co-host of the icstor show' but he blew it when he made the post a few pages back making the objectively provable lie that 'icstor always finishes his projects'. Citing that as a reason anyone should believe him for the fifth or sixth(?) time he's claimed to have gone clean and will update this time for sure. Up until then onyx hadn't so much as lied as been playing up insanely naive and just stop being negative bro. Ruined it with that one.

Icstor had posted himself that he had around 8k renders finished when he last released an update.

And from that 8 thousand, he selected the best 200 with lower than before quality. XDDDD only his supporters at patreon was that stupid to believe in that.

I rember 84 years ago ICSTOR was all like "update soon, all Patreons before Januar 2021 (iirc) will get it for free". Went and checked sometime in 2022 on the discord what the update status was. Sad and funny to see people still throwing money at this scammer.

It was after that Christmas edition everything went to hell. Before that it was relatively frequent updates, but the Christmas edition was the point when i went downhill.
