What I want to know is what the hell happened between the last "real" update which was what? .06e? The .71b update was a joke, I think most of this community would agree on that.
It's been what? three years now since that? I don't know how many are still here in this thread after the "Sara update" but I was white-knighting and crusading to his defense for a long time until that Sara release dropped. 3 years for what? 20 minutes of gameplay?
It should've been done three years ago, and since then, we've bad broken promise after broken promise, and now, another one or two broken ones from Onyx while he was on "vacation" (how convenient as TheRadBrad would say) there is NO WAY to regain the trust back of this community through words (only those who drink ICSTOR's Kool-Aid will always remain loyal)
But c'mon now, it's a joke. This dev has had a long history of broken promises and BS excuses. That'll never end.

What renders you speak of? There are no new renders. All stuff you see is old as fuck. And he even drained and exhausted pool of surplus renders to even get him through all promised teasers, which were allegedly in total 12 or 15 I can't even remember.
The only thing we need to see is the finished game, if another supposed deadline comes and goes, and nothing is presented, all hell's going to break loose here like it did nearly two years ago when the Sara update was released. It was total anarchy here before, during, and after that update dropped.
Words mean shit. If it comes out, and it's actually GOOD, then fine, a 3+ YEAR PROMISE of "the game's being released" will finally be fulfilled, but if it's crap, I'd run to the hills if I was ICSTOR, and all the people that supported him.

ngl I completely forgot the plot of the story, I dont even know why I bother checking.
After a known team member went silent, another "insider" started claiming that the project was still going on. interesting variation.
Are you guys going to continue to believe what this new "team member" said?
Come to think of it, isn't it weird enough that every time icstor's "updated release" program goes bust, new "insiders" come out to create false hope and try to persuade others to keep supporting him?

So, I take it that this is, yet again, more phantom progress ("trust me bro, I seen it!") EVERYONE that has come in here to defend ICSTOR has done essentially the same thing....make excuses, make grandiose promises, and then pretty much disappear when the shit gets too deep. (I gave up on this travesty YEARS ago, just thought I'd pop in to see if anything is happening, BTW) I would propose that this is alot of the reason that people that still long for this game treat posts like yours as smoke and mirrors (i.e. lies), and can't find it to trust anyone involved.
And 8 admins for Discord, etc??? That seems to be alot....kinda like damage control, or <damn it,I can't thing of the word I want here...Shit> Why so many?

I think you're being a bit melodramatic with the whole "if Icstor breaks his promise for a release for the 5th+ time, THIS TIME all hell is going to break loose!!" This forum has already been in a pattern of breaking loose for years at this point. Trust has long since been broken if you're a rational person. I agree that the only thing we need now is a finished game, but I don't think anything will drastically change here if *shock* ICSTOR once again breaks their promise. I'm sure ICSTOR is able to wipe the tears of being called a scammer/liar with his 4000+ patron's money lmao. Even if it goes back down, ICSTOR is always going to have a sizable monthly income if thousands of patrons still believe in him despite not delivering on anything for years.
