Sad thing is that the dev would have made a lot more money by finishing the game in a timely manner. Far more people would be willingly to financially support them with a decent, completed, game under their belt.
True, but this guy has literally made over 2 million dollars before taxes/patreon cuts over the last year, and who knows how much more from other sources. That's a lot of money, especially in whatever country he's from, which I'm assuming is somewhere in Eastern Europe. And it's not like these games are quick and easy to make and he's so rich and making so much money that he probably values the free time over making even more of it. Even now he's still making ~34k+ a month on patreon, why even work when you're making that much? Honestly, devs like Incstor are just better off making a new game under a new alias and trying to make another cash cow to do the same shit with a different game if they're interested in still working, they'd probably make more money that way.
When patrons don't hold devs accountable all they do is enable them to get away with not working, which is what has been happening with Incstor for years now. Just make a few false promises, tell a few lies, and send a shill like Baron or Onyxdime out to the community and you can keep the simps, fanboys, and paypigs subscribed without doing any work.
