Don't you just want to let this topic die? we'll never get a sequel to this game, and these days a lot of games are better in terms of graphics and writing. maybe if people who know something about programming could take the game's current code and write the sequel, it could be pretty good, don't you think?

As much as I hate ICSTOR, this game is still better than a lot of the new stuff that is coming out.
That's difficult to argue with. The amount of crap being uploaded has become quite concerning.
Still ain't gonna financially support ICstor though
i honestly think nostalgia is clouding a lot of ppls perception of the game. i just recently replayed a bit of 0.6e when i found it in the back of an old external hdd, and while renders are generally pretty good, the animations aged really really poorly and the setting is honestly pretty bland.
the formula evolved way past it over the years, while milkstor got complacent and enjoyed the coke money.
but i get it - this game was the first for many, so they have fond memories of it.

What formula? 90% of the games on this site are either a fuckfest translated from Romanian or an insufferable slow burn. and very few games break away from the usual tropes and try to create something fresh. I will not deny that they exist but there are not as many as some want to believe

Visually even by today's standards the game doesn't look bad. I've seen a lot of games coming out in the last few months with shittier renders and animations.

This game was made with Genesis3 models, while most of games released today use Genesis 7, 8 and even 9, that's why game looks older. But it has nothing to do with quality, ICSTOR is better artist than waste majority of AVN artists. Though it doesn't absolve him from being greedy, lazy, and irresponsible.
Onyx said with his last progress update that his role in this whole thing is done. I wouldn't expect much now directly from Onyx. It's outta his hands and in ICSTOR's.

You know, I came to the realization a moment ago. This video, below, is the perfect representation as to how ICSTOR approaches his "employees" after looking at the whole Oxy saga.

I mean what else is there to post on this thread? Only relevant thing is if or when it will be released. My only motivation is to inform those that dont know the history of this situation. Theres nothing really heroic about it. If you see this with fresh eyes that release is imminent you might believe it. With prior knowledge it becomes more doubtful.
