I wouldn't be surprised if he only starts the different levels of testing by how many patreons he has. At 5k it will be the super testing! 6? Super duper testing beta alpha LARGE. 10k? If this is true, to me the result is not worth touching. I'm punching out and checking in again in 1 year. We'll see what's what by then. The game would require a mythical modder, not only technically capable but, more importantly, also capable of adjusting dialogues (including adding) to make the game interesting again to its original fan base. The chance someone suitable will happen do that, and for free, is smaller than ICSTOR sticking to his promises. Sad.

Give it two years, I feel the state the game will be in it will need working from the ground up after Oxy and Icstor are done mutilating it.

There's rumours that pirates are planning to release a patch that would restore certain content. Pirates work very fast. I would say that they'll probably get something sorted for the community within hours of the game releasing.
They're nefarious like that.

There have been very clear instructions from Patreon that there cannot be an official patch which restores forbidden content. Even if the patch is hosted on another website, such as ICSTOR's own site.
Which is why it's down to pirates to restore the content.
