I don't even know why I'm talking to someone who thinks a minigame and a static map make a game complex. You're the type of guy that icstor milks and defend him for it.
And this is a perfect encapsulation of your bad faith stupidity. I literally never said it was complex. I said it was more complex than an average RenPy game.

If you don't know the difference between these two positions I don't know what to tell you buddy.

It's a tag you can search, with Milfy City falling under that tag.

Also you can't be seriously asking for a definition on what a sandbox game made in renpy is, right?
Okay? Go on? You didn't answer my question. What the hell does "sandbox" even mean in a RenPy engine? I'm still yet to play a true Sandbox game in a RenPy engine even after years of playing them.

I am waiting for ICSTOR to say they've found so many bugs that his anti-virus software deleted the game from his computer and would have to start all over again.

All you had to do, was google "what does sandbox mean in a ren py game." But I can understand your confusion though. To be honest to you, when I heard the word "sandbox" I was confused with "sandbox" for Garry's mod.
(Sandbox games refer to):
What does sandbox mean in gaming?

A type of video game that allows the player to have a high degree of freedom to explore and interact with the game world in a nonlinear fashion. Sandbox games often have open-world environments that the player can interact with at will, rather than following a predetermined path or set of objectives.

A plausible excuse is to say something went wrong on the programmer side. I remember to this when 0.71 came out, it wasn't without bullshit either. At the momment of release guy said he lost connection to internet because of huge storm and hurricanes and was was able to release the update a day and half later.

You said it's way more complex than an average RenPy game which it isn't. The only difference this game has from what you call an "average" is the sandbox element which is bare bones and it doesn't make it way more complex than other RenPy VNs. The sandbox element is only there to make the game seem more than it is I guess it worked on you at least.

His whole argument is that this game is more complex than other RenPy because it has sandbox but doesn't understand what that means.

It will give him a boost of motivation for a year. He always does this. He is always inspired at first. He loves to start projects. He is like a child. Super motivated at something new. He always loses this initial rush within the first year. Projects die at that point. he drags out milking.. apparently for 4 years now.. and then start a new project that "is going to be awesome". Yeah. Sure thing.
What I dont understand is, why not just finish it and move on? Like, his stories are just there so the game is not a simple gallery pretty much, just make the last update constant fucking with everyone and move on to the next game

ICSTOR is a piece of rotten shit if you ask me, he devotes all his focus and time on Milfy City, disappointing his fans in the process, and doesn't even deliver promising news on the game. You would think by now he should focus on his other game projects, but apparently he just wants to keep giving us hope where there isn't none to begin with.

true but then my advice would be do like mrdots did with melody and such and finish the game in a year, its obvious he doesn't want to do this game anymore,I don't think hes even trying to milk people now I just think he doesn't give a fuck about this game, hes made enough games I trust that he can make a great game, but its going to take him actually coming back,I just wish people wouldn't hate on him so much, dude I deal with the same shit and im so burnt out, when everyones mean to you it doesn't help, its nice to see the world hasn't gave up on him yet though,if milfy mafia is actually a hit I hope it makes some haters go away
You will never see Milfy Mania. It was announced 3 years ago and I recall due to start development this year sometime. No news so far.

BTW it never ceases to amaze me the number of naive people that believe everything they read on the internet without doing some due diligence to check facts or historical behaviour of developers.
