That's not a comparison. No one compared the content, or the artwork, or the quality, they simply used it to give an excuse as to why it's taking so long. They're basically saying "It'll be finished when it's finished because good work takes a while." That is most definitely not a comparison to the Sistine Chapel.
Then I was wrong, but if you don't support dev financially then why would you complain about slow progress and if you are a patron and you are unhappy about the situation - unsubbing is a way more effective rather than just complaining.
You don't need to be a patreon supporter to have an opinion on the subject. You're basically expecting us to pay just so we can then stop paying just to prove a point. That is incredibly stupid.
Of course, you can have an opinion about everything, i just can't understand why would someone complain about slow progress if he doesn't spend money on supporting the dev, it's not like you'll lose anything if update will be released one month later. And it's just pointless to complain here because it won't change anything and update won't be released faster. Unsubbing if you are already a sub is way more effective in my opinion.

What I wouldn't do for a female protagonist option in this game. Wouldn't work in some cases and it surely wasn't built to allow it, but one can dream.

no way there's 2k new renders on this game from the 0.3 to 0.5 because i play both and its imposible, i think max is like 600 renders, no 2k what it say in the changelog, stop lying your fans

There is easily that many. Every little facial expression is a new render. Just because its not a huge change doesn't mean its not there.

Having an opinion is fine. Whining about slow progress for a FREE game especially when you don't know what it takes to make said game or what goes on in the developers personal life that might take precedence over making the game.....that is what is stupid. There are ZERO reasons why non-patreon supporters should ever complain about these games. ZE-RO!
