Also if a game gets abandoned there's also an option to be used, either by the Dev, assuming they know their game is listed on here, and that is there's generally a set time (someone will know what this is) as to when a game is listed as abandoned. The Mods on here will then list the game as such.
Plenty do get abandoned, due to varying reasons, games also get put on hold too, and then if nothing has happened for X amount of time, or the Dev gives details then it'll more than likely be listed as "Abandoned".
Yyou only have to use a search function to see the current list of Abandoned games.
Milfy City itself has gone through a far few versions of the game. It's out there in the ether. Someone will probably even say how many versions there are too.

So to sum up.
Milfy City is defintely not abandoned (yet!!)
The game is even being worked at present.
Also the game has to be tested prior to release (then this lot can fap away as fast as they're able to the latest update of the game... and then start over with the same old Q&A's (again) ;)

You can also find out more information about the game on Icstor's Discord Channel too. But beware what you ask on there, and don't mention this site, or pirate/ripped versions. Officially this game is only available via the Patreon page and paying members. Also it doesn't have an "official" version for Android either.

Yes, recently a game was set to Abandoned which had not quite yet met that criteria for lack of base communications (i.e., prior three months) - it seemed to get the label because that Dev had a record of offering a first installment and not continuing, plus their most recent communications did not offer hope that they would even be able to continue the game development due to other issues in their life. So, a site Admin eventually decided it was time, perhaps prompted by a request, to change its status. That game could come back from the dead, but given past history, that's unlikely.

Milfy City has had reasonable communications from the dev team before and after ICSTOR's break and his progress continues to move forward - he pissed a number of people off for scope-creeping, which added even more time to wait for the next release, but that's a different thing than showing no intent or active involvement in the game towards progress. Even the writer for the game has spoken up about their status as they've been engaged. So, it's far from Abandoned.

I'm pretty sure it showed On Hold until he released a preview image and told people that he was back and had started working on 0.6 again.

I have a friend that was too lazy to cancel his World of Warcraft and various other MMO subscriptions even after he hadn't played them for years.

Hell, even I have a gym membership that I haven't used in a little over a year.
