While you aren't entirely wrong I will say by the amount of people venting their frustrations at this point I'm pretty sure it benefits more than just them selves, if you have problems then you see dozens of other people with the same problem then it helps to come together in a dev bashing hate support group we're all here for each other man. Things like these come in waves you just have to weather the storm till it passes over which will be when the the update drops untill then the storm will continue raging. Though I don't fault you for your stance I never said it was unreasonable.

No, if history has taught us anything its that people are stupid :p He will continue to get pledges no matter if promises are broken. He knows it and that's the reason he is not bothered by it. No matter how much people complain in this thread like I have seen in so many other threads of other games, at the end of the day, the ones who support the dev will continue the support and the moment the update gets released and people see "1000 new images" and "60 new animations!!" everyone will forget that it took an year for this and the patreon support will increase :) That is what history has taught us.
So calm down grab a beer and wait for the update because at the end of the day all this bickering here won't change a thing

It's like people forgot Irredeemable. People will keep defending the dev. Especially when they've spent money on him. You need to admit you wasted your money on a dev. It's a difficult mental barrier to overcome.

Personally, I like icstor and his works. I understand if he is experiencing some burnout. I mean, having your source of income from making porn games is depressing. Not to mention you need to beg people money through patreon.

Also I bet the same people who are acting all entitled (ra,ra,ra where is my free update?!) will be again singing him (Icstor) praises when the new version drops around here.

You know in order to beg you need to open your mouth and start communicating... something that ICSestor is REALLY bad at.
And even if he will never see this thread/Forum I hope that some backers do anyway and send some of the more constructive critisms his way.
He is far from perfect so hopefully he'll take some incentensives and improves.

I will just grab the update.
That won't be the first time the same this situation happens around here and i doubt it will be the last. They will be singing praises for about a month before the complaints about the next release start again. :ROFLMAO:

It's a shame because this is one of my favorite games but his patreon has become a cow farm where people willingly get milked without being rewarded. Sure, he could switch his Patreon from "per month" to per "creation"; but that would mean that he would have to work faster and drop more updates or just lose about 90% of his annual income through Patreon. But let's be honest. This is about porn games. It's not about morals or dignity. Enough authors have dropped from the face of the earth and there are only a few cases (Pandelo comes to mind) where they willingly stopped pledges for patrons themselves. Most of them keep milking people and it's not their fault for abusing people who seemingly pledge 10-20 bucks just to get a monthly apology (or even less). We're living in a time where lonely dudes pay 5 bucks of Fiverr so girls play League of Legends with them. It's a market, even though it's "just" 3D chicks.

If we want change, we don't just have to meme the shit out of the lazy ones. We have to drop the pledges and pledge to those 10-20% of authors who keep delivering. We gotta reward those who deserve it. That's why I'm pretty picky about my pledges.

Same I'll grab the update and be quite about it but I won't hold my breath. The one thing about this thread is it's punctual of when chaos ensues.
