That bit about the beta is not news. It's been like that, and written in the pledge levels, for as long as I remember.
Also, once again, to the people worried about the "beta" version, it is the full version. Like most devs Icstor just calls his first release of a version a beta as a sort of cover all in case there are more bugs found.
Now when we get this first release no one knows for sure. Realistically we're probably going to miss October 10th aren't we?

I for one am not fretting about it... there's literally no point to it as he really doesn't give a dang about anything, not his patrons, not us, not his work etc. But it's really fun to watch the comments and he memes.

Imagine worrying about how other people spend their money. Or not realizing or ignoring the fact that it's the people who actually support the game that allow it to actually exist, so the pirates here can have something to download illegally when it does release.

While it is true that everyone is free to spend their money how they choose, it doesn't make it immune to criticism. I for one can understand how someone might start to question why people spend twice, tripple or more times on a simple porn "game" compared to full price games with far higher quality content and actual gameplay.
As for the second part, it doesn't take more than 10.000$ a month to produce what is basically a visual novel with some short animation loops and no gameplay, high quality indie games have been produced with less than what Icstor has earned over the years.
Don't get me wrong, spend your money however you want, but also understand that it might seem bizarre to other people how much money someone is willing to spend on porn when the internet is flooded with it.

It is obvious to me that when Icstor is talking about a release date, he is talking about the release date for the higher tier of patrons. So if 0.6 is indeed released on October 10th, 25$ patrons will get it then and everyone else on October 13th.
