While it is true that everyone is free to spend their money how they choose, it doesn't make it immune to criticism. I for one can understand how someone might start to question why people spend twice, tripple or more times on a simple porn "game" compared to full price games with far higher quality content and actual gameplay.

As for the second part, it doesn't take more than 10.000$ a month to produce what is basically a visual novel with some short animation loops and no gameplay, high quality indie games have been produced with less than what Icstor has earned over the years.

Don't get me wrong, spend your money however you want, but also understand that it might seem bizarre to other people how much money someone is willing to spend on porn when the internet is flooded with it.

Yeah, you can criticize if you want, but all it does is make you come off as looking bad. What someone decides to spend their money on is no ones business. I don't worry about what other people decide to spend money on. I worry about my own money, and couldn't care less what other people spend theirs on.

Doesn't matter if the game could be developed cheaper or not, or if high quality indie games are being produced for less. People willingly donate to the development process though Patreon.

You know what might seem bizarre also? The fact that the same people are here shit posting, complaining, flaming, etc, because a game update they want to fap to isn't coming out soon enough for them. Like you said, the internet is flooded with porn, and this site is flooded with games. Saying 25$ patrons receive the game 3 days early is just a nice way of saying everyone else gets it 3 days late.
It is obvious to me that when Icstor is talking about a release date, he is talking about the release date for the higher tier of patrons. So if 0.6 is indeed released on October 10th, 25$ patrons will get it then and everyone else on October 13th.

You know that one doesn't exclude the other, right? I agree that the amount of rage and vitriol in this thread is bizarre as well, but firstly, I didn't participate in that, so don't lump me in with the people who did and secondly, even if you didn't spend money on the game it is still perfectly valid to voice your opinion on something and criticize it, although the way it is expressed on here tends to be overly dramatic and salty, but that is the internet I guess.
