So, apparently there are zero animations in the beta? Is there any reason to believe they are not done?
Maybe someone can correct me, but I can look at the script of 0.5 and see there is virtually no difference in implementing an image or a video into renpy:

I'm really glad I stopped giving Icstor money. I'm also glad I had the foresight to stop late last year. Can you imagine being a consistent patreon for the last year? May as well throw money on a fire.

Its just hard to believe when I know so many random ppl on this site are good enough at renpy to fix pretty much any bugs quickly. Maybe he should hire some more help with all that money he's raked in stalling for months working on the game 10 minutes a day.

Don't get too crazy there. He's been lying about the state of the updates development since before he even took a break in the first place. Caroline 65% complete a year ago? Totally man. After this last lie ICSTOR moves up on the tier list right next to irredeemableWho wants to play this game without animations? Go defend this guy as much as you want when the truth of the matter is that at least 75% of all games in this scene that have been either abandoned or not updated for months all have the surprising problem of some form of illness with either the dev or a family member.
When the majority does it, its not coincidence anymore
The people that keep defending these devs over and over without any reason other then blind trust, you are the main reason why simple discussions about the legitimacy of certain devs is impossible.
Let me ask this, do I need a certain illness or lack of a healthy body to become a successful developer?
