Well, This happens when you pledge too much money, either they become greedy or don't give fk at all. Shame I still want that Sara ending.
Imagine if he would lose 5000 of his Paetrons. The next update would be there in 1 Month. Its sad that rly good Devs get much less than this greedy boy. At least we still have good Devs with a lot of income like DPC and Philly.Well, This happens when you pledge too much money, either they become greedy or don't give fk at all. I m 100% with you man the money they get the slower they update the games. I don’t want see someone respond with they’re good dev, if go back you see how much faster they deliver updates with more support become lazy and greedy and yes that’s included become rockstar, Being a dick . City of broken dreams i was with the few people who give money when they started but now i m done / 4 updates a year/ 20 to 30+ k $ a month = 250 k a year damm that not little people work for less in game developmentWell, This happens when you pledge too much money, either they become greedy or don't give fk at all. Only rules that are in place... yet ICStor mastered the art of abusing the system to avoid tags by being vague and makeing posts in the nick of time with empty promisesDoes Ic do lobbyism on this plattform or why there is still not abandoned tag (not even onhold) don't get it.
DPC isnt working slower. If you watch the quality difference (renders) between DIK and Acting Lessons you can see that he improved it. And DIK is much more difficult if it comes down to coding. You have free roam, minigames, apps on the phone etc. It takes his time. And he is posting an update every week with infos about his work. And on the other hand, i dont want a dev to work 7 days a week with 10 hours or more. Many of them do that at the start, cause they need to create an income. But you cant do that over a long time. "that not little people work for less in game development" thats true but you have to consider, that most ppl are employers. They get less money, but they dont have any risk. And on Paetron it is up to you if you want to support someone.I m 100% with you man the money they get the slower they update the games. You're obviously getting Philly and DrPink mixed up with Icstor. Philly's patreon is about $13k/month, so about $156k/year, BEFORE fees, tax and costs, which then brings it down closer to $80k - $90k/year. Most people who only have one role (ie: programmer OR animator OR level designer OR writer OR any other singular role) in a game studio make between $70k - $110k/year. Although its not what you'd call a AAA game but considering he's doing everything himself (coding, writing, rendering, animating, scene building, etc), his game updates are huge and high quality, how on earth can this be considered earning too much and him being lazy when there's literally only 1 or 2 other devs making larger updates of this quality? DrPink is maybe one of those devs making more renders.I m 100% with you man the money they get the slower they update the games. Ever considered that one of the main reasons these games have so few bugs is that they're barely games by any definition of the word? Extremely linear visual novels if a better description. As for comparing a couple of hundred static renders and a handful of three second animations using standard Daz3D models with a AAA title, well, let's just say that they play in totally different leagues. Sure, it's impressive what some of these one-man-shows can actually pull off, but these games have more in common with the 8-bit games released in the late 80's than they have with today's big titles. You all want AAA level games but don't want devs to make enough to produce them because of a couple bad eggs, yet you're happy to play Ubisoft's and EA's buggy as fuck games that get even more broken every patch while they make millions off you. Yes, Icstor = bad, but that doesn't mean all other devs automatically = bad.
LOL! You've taken one sentence I've said out of context and twisted it into something its not, trying to put words in my mouth or think I'm talking just about VN's. A couple hundred static renders and handful of 3 second animations in Philly's and DrPink's games? Get of the crack kid, there's thousands in there games and dozens if not hundreds of animations in them too. Read my post again, I even say they're not AAA games. Having said that there are plenty of real 3D open world games in Unity and Unreal where the Dev is doing it all by themselves, once again, I'm not calling them AAA games so don't confuse yourself again.Ever considered that one of the main reasons these games have so few bugs is that they're barely games by any definition of the word? Ah, and here I thought you were serious when you started crying about putting words in your mouth. You almost had me there. And you've completely missed the point as to why there aren't any AAA level porn games, there's simply not enough money in the industry for that kind of level of production. Go have a nap and come back when you're awake enough to read![]()
Meh, censored porn is like non alcoholic beer. And the constant crying of someone who sounds like a ten year old being raped just grates on me.lol comparing literally any patreon game to literally any aaa game is ridiculous. these guys gets attention only because big companies dont want to be connected with porn, hence this field is left unexplored. i would like to see how these games (ie patreon numbers) perform in japan for example where there are shitload of studios producing porn games since dawn of time. so yeah pissing yourself over couple of static renders by philly or drpink or literally anyone else is not the smartest thing.
Go ask him in his discord lol. You will get perma banned. Will there be updates???Can who that heard, this game as on me one of the best
I'm not surprised, comprehension obviously isn't your strong point hahaAh, and here I thought you were serious when you started crying about putting words in your mouth. You almost had me there.![]()
