It's obvious he cares, we have a massive userbase here of over 3.5 million people. Any dev with any common sense knows to try and tap into that, it's how they bring in the money. Free advertising to millions and if they play it right they can bring in thousands a month.

Those spouting "he doesn't care about F95" are utterly clueless and have no idea how marketing works or how devs take advantage of a massive resource like this site.

I agree with you. Every developer who has a game and wants to make it work should be using all the resources they can gather. Even if this site weren't huge on searches, it would still be dumb to leave them behind. Even with TONS of people who will never subscribe and pay for whatever reason, there are still people who are very helpful as trouble shooting resources, willing to give up a simple dollar a month to help the game continue and be good, as well as offer helpful suggestions. So for every ten people giving this guy shit, he did make a good game at one point. Then he started cheating the very people he owes the ability to make the game to. That's not only bad business, it's stupid. Hell, if I get to 7000 subs, I'd not only have the render farm to make my game better and deliver more, I'd have side content being made pretty much daily as I created stuff ... because I finally could without having to sit and wait on crappy equipment, long render times freezing up the one screen I have for hours, and the hours I have to spend at my regular job while working on it. This dude is really dropping the ball here. Maybe he lost the love for the game, maybe he got stuck in a rut somehow. Making a new game and abandoning a game people clearly love isn't going to fix it. It just means one unfinished game eventually becomes two. Instead, why not get a month ahead on your content, tell your supporters you're taking a month off, and then come back fresh? They'd be all for it if you were responsive, and giving from the start. I just don't get it, or the guy who does F.I.L.F. either. Abusing the people who made them what they could be in the future. Sad.

Sucks the game isnt Open Source so someone could just take the game from ICSTOR and just continue it. Cause I would just work on it if i could, The story was promising and loved the characters.

Thank you for the correction, my bad. but, you solidified my statement with the last sentence to stated...and I quote "However, for litigation purposes you have to first register your work." and I don't believe that has been done by the "dev" (and I use that term VERY loosely) in this case.

You also have to take into consideration did he buy the assets or did he get them from places like F95? The old adage, don't throw stones when you live in a glass house rings very true here. Most devs do try to stay as legal as possible, however, there are those that also try to keep their overhead to a bare minimum by using assets from here and other places.

I heard he released a short update for the game. Not sure how true it is, but either way, it's about time the "Abandoned" tag was placed on the game.

Wait, am I missing something? I've first played this game a few years back when I was new to this community, ever since then I haven't been paying much attention to it but it seemed to me like it was a really popular game? How come it was abandoned?

Developer hadn't made game updates in over 2 years (while still having the Patreon up). Allegedly developer noticed that he can get away with taking donations without doing anything, so he decided to do more of that. Allegedly.
