In "Misfits" this means mainly Clara and to a certain extend Amy and Betsy, because there seems to be a possibility that one of them can become your girlfriend later if you like them better. (But beware of Betsy, she is a real character snake)
So while Misfits has lots of sex stuff going on, you are only cucked if you push Clara into it. But what shimmers through in your post, you have this view that all girls in the game are somewhat yours, even if most are not by a mile, then yes, Misfits could be problematic for you. And quite a number of other erotic games as well.

Sorry to hear that, but it is understandable considering your point of view. Even if I have trouble understanding it, esp. the cuckold part. I am with quorkboy when it comes to the definitions of NTR/Cuckold/Sharing/Swinging, so there is definitely no cucking of you involved when e.g. Bean is sleeping with her boyfriend. On the contrary, depending on how you decide at the frat party, you are cuckolding Gordon then.

You actually miss out here! Misfits has great graphics and unlike some erotic games your choices have impact. Be an a.. boyfriend, the girls will treat you like one too. Push her towards other guys? This is no real haremmaker, push the girls towards other men and they will one day act on it.

Chase every skirt in school, the girls will become sluts. Be a good boyfriend and get a loyal, loving girlfriend. Want your girlfriend just a bit more daring? Encourage her to wear sexy clothes, Clara is surprised at herself that she likes this.
Don´t want the girls to become sluts? Well, Betsy is both a character snake and a slut already, so good luck there, but be a good, solid friend and/or boyfriend to Clara, Amy and Ptxie and they won´t become sluts.
Beware of lies, esp. Betsy, Joy, Gordon and Sebastian lie often to gain advantages and screw with the other pupils and the MC. Depending on what choices you make, some of these lies become the truth, but normally they are and stay lies.

I think the main thing in the game is different versions of the story and several endings! If there is no choice, then this is a visual novel or a comic book! A game for entertaining adults with different tastes... You can only go through your own version without judging others! It's a compromise...

I haven't been following the discussion too closely but wanted to throw my vote in with whatever crowd likes the current direction. I think the "but we all have to share" plot device is meant to be deliberately provocative (both to the MC and to players). The MC's choices (and the players') are to share or to watch in pain. That frustration is "not a bug but a feature" (as the saying goes) for the target audience, which is -- based on the dev's other game -- the NTR or swing crowds.

Speaking of which, I think that's where the choices in the game really come in to play. Is this an NTR and/or swinging game? Up to you.

On paper, it might sound like it would be easy enough to make this a harem game too. After all, most harem games can easily incorporate NTR or swinging. However, the opposite isn't always true, and in this case, I don't think the characters and setting would work for a harem, super-chad story at all. The characters are a bunch of relationship-less nerds. How would they turn things around all of a sudden, if not by collaborating? There's a reason most harem games start with some dramatic turn that propels the protagonist into being bolder: "woke from a coma," "returned from overseas after years," "last man in town," etc.

In short, the collaboration/sharing, "revenge of the nerds" story is relatively unique and deserves a turn in the sun.

Yes, I agree that the storyline you flippantly, but still rather correctly, called "Revenge of the Nerds" is a piece of fresh air and deserves a spot to shine.
But I think you are wrong on the major plotlines being only sharing/Netorase or NTR. You can keep your girlfriend loyal if you chose wisely, but harem is then definitely out. And personally I find this too a breath of fresh air. since the sexy clothes path is partly distinct from the other plotlines, you can have a loyal, but daring and slightly slutty girlfriend!

That is rare to find such a possible combination, so I hope the path of a loyal, but daring girlfriend stays in the game. I found it really nice to see in one playthrough that Clara can be a loyal girlfriend, but she is surprised by herself that she likes showing off in daring/sexy/slutty clothes and if you, the MC, encouraged her, she even mentions it both flirtingly and statementlike (she has recognised that you like her showing off) during the shopping for the new school uniform, if you chose her.
