Here is the hotfixed version for the curent patch. 0.7.2a. It should clear the bug that made it impossible to read anything.

And for those who can't progress in the game. If your old savefile was somewhere in the middle of the existing content, basically before you enter the city, you need to either start a new game or use one of the savefiles I uploaded (you can find them next to the downlaod links). I was able to save backwards compatibility, but only for saves in the later parts of the game. Those who where still in the middle of the gameplay need one of those new saves. Sorry about the inconvenience, but I changed so much that it was difficult to keep everything working. That's why I uploaded those saves in the first place.

nothing scary or no jumpscares, just the atmosphere. If i remember correctly there was a scene with kinda a jumpscare but dev adds a warning before that. No worries

In the quest log I only have one quest Learn about your Magic and it only says I should focus on my other tasks.

What should I do now?

I did in my case. It says that there's nothing to learn at the moment. Also it says I should focus on other tasks, but there no other tasks.

I can't remember now, but it sounds like it's either time based, so after a certain amount of days have passed, or you need to speak to one of the girls.
Something's making me think Lily, but could be one of the others.

What's your curse level currently at?
Being 100% cursed prevents you from using magic, so you'd need to drink the cure.

I haven't unlocked Lily and do you mean curse level as in the skeleton icon in the top right corner when going on a mission?

The curse is something you build up, by using magic.
When it reaches 100% you can no longer use magic, until you drink a cure.

I think, as you haven't learned how to use magic yet, this is something you'll shortly be introduced to.

If you've not shot the red bolt, in the garden, speak to Mia in the evening. I think she has something to do with it.

How exactly do I use magic? And would 100% curse advance the story?

In combat you have an attack option, bottom right, that looks like a lightning bolt. That's your magic attack.
Curse doesn't prevent story progression, it prevents access to the magic attack during combat.

Hmm, I don't have an extra attack option, even though I practiced magic by clicking on the banner. I just have the light, heavy and gun attacks and the run option. Maybe my save is bugged. It's not an old save, I just started it today.

If not, then I think you need to talk to Mia, in the evening.

I can't remember if it shot a red bolt and Mia doesn't say anything new. I guess I should start a new save.

If it's the battle at your base you need to talk to each of them, you need the items for Lily to make a bomb, you need to prepare the fences and the bomb must be placed.... maybe some more but talking to the girls individually during the day and all of them in the evening should do the trick....

If you can't find any quests in log it might be worth it to click the chair in the big room in the evening, maybe some event(s) with one or more of the girls need to be done before the magic event can progress....

I searched the thread but did not find anyone with a similar problem. Namely, I have the what is that floodsystem task and I need to read the manual, but I don't know where and how to read it. and I was in both sections of security and everywhere I could. I would be grateful for help

I have 14 Mia files in her gallery, most likely the events in the evening (click chair)...

Else it's one of the Morale options, see your room, click Mia, raise morale

Click on the armchair to "Spend time with" the girls.
