Sometimes, pressures or stresses aren't really coming from online interaction. I think the ones that causes it are probably the ones around the-person-in-question. Even if we could provide counseling, if the person itself denies it, we can't do anything about it.
Not to mention, the word counsel tend to be affiliated with troublemakers.
So if one's mind already stressed enough, the mind tend to only brings negativities.

Pressures and Stresses come from everywhere, not just being a DEVELOPER.
Those who causes it, losing one or two DEVELOPERS mean nothing...

I won't be sharing future updates out of a small respect for your work, but I really dislike how you threatened the pioneers to not share it saying that you'll add DRM to it, you're against piracy yet you have shared your work on this site and even have an account and when someone gets mad over the fact that content isn't shared on a piracy website you have to share your life story and the fact that you have to make a living like it being pirated is going to immediately cut off all support, and have to respond to every single troll comment here and play the victim card. Threatening to stop working on the game is also disingenuous to other pioneers, when you said that you would finish the game to the doubters who compared this to Monster Girl Island. If piracy is all you need to turn to the dark side to ahead, but it just shows that they were all right.

Like seriously? Self-harm? It is not that serious, people will still support you but acting like this will make people not want to. It's a good game, a great game, and people might support you over the fact that it's good if the fact that you're fucking suicide baiting won't scare them off. I have never seen a dev like you before. Get mental help, delete your account off this site, anything. You need psychiatric care.

Decided to check the last page of this thread to maybe find some changelog or so, was instead met with an argument

for all I care and wonder: How long has this project been in the works and how much money was collected from users, hoping they'd be delivered something of value?

I get that piracy can be problematic and yet as many are aware, this place is designated to sharing otherwise paid content. In fact some regions in the world prevent the purchase of adult content and/or unnecessarily complicate it. At the end of the day, if I was in a position to spend the extra cash to support a nsfw project alongside regular game purchases, sure. But given for how long this one in particular has been going, at some point development time far exceeds that of the amount of money some people end up spending on a patreon subscription whilst receiving one massive anti-consumer middle finger as at least one of their supporters ends up sharing the content with those possibly unable to financially afford it, yet looking to have a great time

If I were to sponsor to this day I would have already paid for more than two AAA games and still wouldn't have a playable game.

The dev just lost my monetary support for their attitude here. I don't care what trolls set them off, claiming things like "this site is full of trolls" or "won't change my attitude here unless the trolls are sanctioned"
When both common sense and everyone else tells you not to listen or reply to trolls, and especially not be affected by them. If something isn't true you show the evidence and tell them they're wrong, you don't go on a rude attitude spree hating on everyone on the website.
Especially when a game developer doesn't have a job and the supporters are the source of income, then act like it.
Firstly, put some effort into formally presenting the evidence and knowledge to debunk any haters OR ignore them.
What are the things that both supporters and trolls complain about, then simply address them, make changes to your workflow or project that are more in line with the people paying money.
When you are receiving monthly payments from supporters who want something, they have every right to stop supporting and claim their dissatisfied, getting upset with them only upsets others including myself. Splitting up these projects continuously feels like steps forward and back; it's no wonder people feel like their wallets are being drained.
One should not express their disgust with one group of people, then mirror that exact attitude to everyone around them, including supporters.

The man is solo, without the team of AAA devs so I don't really blame him for how long it takes. I mean it IS slow for someone claiming that this is their sole way to make a living but I can understand and I respect the work that hes done, what I don't respect is his attitude on here and on discord. I briefly joined the discord (the public one, before I was banned) and he said some "someone broke the peace" and on the paid one he posted a screenshot of my post telling the supporters to get the download link FROM ME and if there are any problems with the download link they must talk TO ME. I'll still support the dev, I currently switched to a monthly tier but christ.
