Guys, I have some updates.
Using a week off work I had I finished writing most of what will be present for the next version. I finished the introduction of Gran Noah, the new quest about Papi's mother, the colosseum, and Yamatai quest.
As far as changes go, the colosseum kept the same premise, but there will be more battles, no rape, and no Alma Elma teaching Luka about Sylph. Instead, Alma will throw the match really soon and have some much-needed character development here. There will be two new conversations with her, one with Luka, and another one with Alice, to flesh out her plot (yeah, the same Torotoro only revealed by the end of the game, I'm bringing it to here, and further developing it later). Aside from that, there aren't any big changes.
Alma Elma will not teach how to use Sylph because I'll introduce here the new Spirit Sidequest system. In the VN the Spirits skills got upgraded by someone teaching Luka how to use them (sometimes even the Spirit herself), but in this new system I'm introducing, the Spirit will come to Luka asking him to go somewhere, you gonna have a small dungeon there, and at the end, there will be a new conversation with each spirit which serves to flesh them out and develop them as well as making them closer to Luka. As such they will perform a ritual to deepen their merging with Luka, increasing his control over their powers. The ritual will include a sex scene that is refusable as always, but if you do, you won't be able to unlock their new skills and only keep the ones you already have. You can change your mind though and if you go back to that place you can still perform the ritual. So if you want to be fully faithful to Alice, now you will actually pay a price. For the first upgrade, the scene will be new and non-vaginal (of course), and for the last, I'll use the existing one.
In general, the spirits were forgotten for most of the story in VN, which is a pity. I'm taking their existing lore (from the new Wikia) in mind when I write them, but I may deviate a little here and there and add stuff too.
Yamatai is practically finished, but there will be some changes here, but they are too many and I'd like to not spoil them. I just promise that the general premise is the same, but taken more seriously. The sacrifice thing is still there, Tamamo will offer help, and the character development that happens here in the VN will still happen in the remake and have the addition of Tamamo reporting to Alice about Top Hat Man infiltration.
I do have a good idea of what I'll do in Plansect, but I still didn't write it yet, the same goes for Undine Springs. I'll probably finish Yamatai and send it to a friend to proofread. I do like to reread the story a few times visualizing it and editing some parts when better ideas come to mind, or when I notice a logical mistake. It's not just a few pages though, it's more than 60 pages.
Well... That's it for now. Thanks for the patience, and sorry for the eternal delays.
