So... how does one hit 1 quadrillion damage? Not sure if this has been done, but I wanted to theory-craft to maximize damage on the new Reaper's battle challenge with normal attack stacking. I don't know how deep I need to dive for gear strong enough to hit 1 quadrillion damage, but I'm sure I'll find out eventually.

Boosters not included above are either highly dependent on gear rolls (element, job, race) or not used at all (skill boosters). Prepping for this was pretty fun. Anyone got ideas to improve? Did I calc everything correctly?

I think the "booster" would stack each other from the equipment, ability or it doesn't?
For example tentacle plate give 200% tentacle booster, tentacle armor give another 200% tentacle booster, then from the ability 30% tentacle booster = 430% boosting the tentacle based skill...?
Divine destiny and dullahan rondo doesnt stack each other, DD will overwrite the other "ACT" skill, if you're curious just test it

Bishamonten guaranteed critical and deal more critical damage, armor impact reduce enemies defense (mind impact for magic defense), omega tiara 100% pleasure damage ( i use ultimate protection for overall grinding on LoC to prevent all the debuff), tech up buff from the white magic skill, hero song and almighty song and from Food (cooking skill before you do battle)

Lastly just apply the ability "technique converter, heavy technique, dex up" for a succubus, kitsune the scyllas

Perhaps you can test it on reaper (reaper challenge) or Chrome doll (the dummy for damage testing) by bringing 3x Scyllas all equipped with tentacle plate, tentacle armor, bishamonten, omega tiara and Daji since she also have divine destiny and dullahan rondo
The scyllas are: Mitsuko, Awawa, Cylla or Queen scylla

why does this whole process feel like an over complicated mess?
ive been trying to get it tanslated all day digging though the thread and using the search feature, as of now i've downloaded the mega file from page 1 and followed arzox's translating guide but the menu's and intro are still japanese

i usually just buy the games from dlsite and use textractor to play but mgqp seems far too deep and mechanic rich to just beserker my way through the game, is there an already translated and patched form of 2.41 anywhere i can just play and miss out on any future updates until part 3 is 100% released and translated?

There is a link in OP saying Pre-Patched Translation files, you cant see it or do not want to see it?

Also if the menu's are still untranslated, you did something wrong on your end when patching.

If you are playing casually and not planning to do LoC up to floor 500 and get monster lord cassandra they are not quite needed
You need: a companion who has default ability to use holy skill then apply the summoner job, divine songsters and whatever dealer pretty much can clear all story content

Monster lord cassandra is just like alicetromeria but she deal physical damage

The Tentacle Festival plate (200%) and Tentacle Armor breastplate (100%) stack additively for a 300% total booster, but you would have to give up Fantasista's extra actions or Daybreak's Ultimate Charge (and other benefits from Great Sword basic attack) and the free Transform on Justice Suit, neither of which is worth it.

All action-granting states (DD, Div, MB, DR, and IAMT) stack with each other and other action-granting items (Cards and Crisis Triple Action Gem). It's a common strat for the Slime+Scylla race combo.

The Bishamonten shield has the same issues as the Tentacle Festival plate. Inner Focused Mind also guarantees critical hits, and the critical damage is not worth the action loss from replacing Fantasista (cripples DPS due to lacking enough setup actions) or the loss of Ultimate Charge and the Great Sword basic attack from Daybreak (combined 8*2.5*2=40x multiplier on Attack stat).

I totally forgot Food existed. I guess I'll find the best Attack multiplier and add it to the list.

In order to out-DPS a nine-fold basic attack (with Ex Tentacle Up) with a total 900% normal attack booster, you would need a minimum of 9*10*2.5 = 22500% on a single action*. There are also far more multipliers for Attack than there are Dexterity, which makes the former the superior offensive stat for this setup. Not to mention the Great Sword condition bonus is easy to naturally hit since All Stats Down is a part of most buff and debuff rotations on bosses.

*Theoretically, this is possible. I don't know if personal traits stack multiplicatively with boosters, but let's assume they do, because otherwise this would be a lot more difficult. Mitsuko's double-cast trait (like "double" action on states, it's actually +1 cast, not "double") isn't as good as Kraken/Poseidoness' 1.3x Attack + 1.3x Tentacle skills + Tentacle skills use Attack (Heavy Tentacle). Ex Tentacle Up triple-casts Tentacle skills. The best Tentacle skill I have access to is Tentacle Waltz, which does 1440%. Together, that's 1.3*1.3*3*1440 = ~7300% before boosters. If you divide 22500/7300, you need a total of ~310% Tentacle Booster.

Collab is 2.30, timeloop is 2.40/2.41 it came out 7 months ago on October 2021

Yes. It's slightly less focused on the story to allow more player freedom, but overall it's significantly better for gameplay than the first one.

those pre-patched files we're not mentioned in the instructions on the page 1 post with the links and was also not mentioned in arzox's instructions. dont worry though, i found a fully translated 2.41 version on some fastcomments dot com site

like i said in my original comment, there should be a ready to download and play version on page 1 for people who dont care to updaate the translation regularly because lets be real a lot of people coming here for dlsite games arent paying for them since 80% of dlsite games are translated just fine with textractor's deepL plugin

I don't know how up-to-date the translation is, but you can easily follow the link right below to the message about pre-patched translation files and simply extract those into the game folder.

You will never get a mention on Arzorx's blog a step telling you to go to another forum, and get files from here.
And they dont provide already patched files in the first place, so why you are expecting them to mention it?

The manual patching process takes 10 minutes, 15 at worst, not whole day and you never asked for help during whole day search. And you did not ask for help on discord either with patching.

As for poor quality of info on 1st post you can blame this forums staff, since they dont let other people update OP posts if you are not the actual dev of the game

better? those instructions should replace the page 1 stuff, now i can understand why your responses to everyone come across so frustrated. no idea why that post didnt show up when typing "translation" into the search thread box, maybe i missed it with the 38 pages of posts with the word

Also your translation is very likely out of date on the version you downloaded, you will need to update it anyway.

i dont mind a few attacks here and there or the Hscenes being jp, textractor works fine for all of that. i should be able to make do untill part 3 is done and translated, it was mostly the combat menu that i couldnt figure out with textractor since it was 2 columns

hopefully shrift 2 doesnt expand the game mechanics the same way as mgqp so i can buy and play it on release day like ive been doing for deiselmine and skunks games

Check wiki, As for advanced hero jobs, those are for part 3, in advanced jobs tab, you will not be able to get 4 jobs. (from top: 23, 56, 57, 58)
